一、明和二（酉）年九月、御切符金四両・三人扶持のうち壱人分は江戸扶持として下し置かれ、宣明院様御近習番の御雇として勤めるよう仰せ付けられた事。
一、同三（戌）年四月、宣明院様の御召し古の御品が御溜まりにあるにつき、下し置かれた処、御品は不詳である。
但し、この後も度々下し置かれた事。

One: In the ninth month of Meiwa 2 (Year of the Rooster), he was granted a stipend of four ryō in cash certificates (*okippu kin*) and three persons' worth of rations (*ninsoku fuchi*), of which one person's portion was designated as Edo rations (*Edo fuchi*), and he was ordered to serve as a hired attendant (*oyatoi*) in the personal guard (*okinju-ban*) of Lady Senmyōin.
One: In the fourth month of the same third year (Year of the Dog), as there were stored items (*otamari*) of Lady Senmyōin's formerly worn and used personal effects (*omeshifuru no oshina*), these were granted to him; however, the details of the items are unknown.
Note: After this, such grants were made on numerous occasions.
