- In the sixth month of the eleventh year (Year of the Dog), it was officially announced that he had served diligently during the busy period surrounding the investiture ceremony (*gonin'kan*).
- In the eleventh month of the same year, on the occasion of the ceremonial ritual in which Lord Kinbun personally received his honorary tablet (*gogaku*) directly at his sleeve, he was appointed to serve in the ceremonial right-side attendant role (*goshiki migi-jitsu goyō*).
- In the first month of the twelfth year (Year of the Boar), he was appointed to serve in the ceremonial duties for the coming-of-age ritual (*omaekami wo tori-okonawareru goshiki*) in which the lord's forelock was ceremonially cut.
- In the fourth month of the same year, he was ordered to additionally take on the role of wardrobe keeper (*onando-yaku*) while the lord was in residence in the domain.

- In the eleventh month of the same year, as his illness had become severe, he submitted a petition requesting that Katsuichi, the second son of Nagai Magodayū, be taken in as his son-in-law and adopted heir (*muko-yōshi*). In response, it was conveyed to his family that the request would be granted posthumously (i.e., the adoption would be formally recognized after his death).
