朔日戊辰晴れ 葵祭の御下行（下賜品）が渡され、頂戴した。
三日庚午晴れ 上巳の節句の御祝いとして、例年通り御雛酒を下された。
六日癸酉晴れ 残りの配分、諸入用を差し引いて一人分四貫五百八十文ずつである。
八日乙亥晴れ 昼食後、取締方が中評議所へ参集し、四、五ヶ条の評議があった。
寅年・卯年中等の臨時入用書付を職中の張顕や志直等から差し出され、一同一覧の
上退散した。もっとも評決の件については別記があるので、ここでは省略する。
九日丙子快晴 御家門二百匁懸けの御講十九会目が三本樹において行われ、例の通り出役した。○薩州大守（薩摩藩主）の御参府で御通行、明十日伏見駅御着のため、今日
館後より千代蔵、手代平蔵、供の巳之助等を召し連れ、伏見の旅宿へ出張した。
もっとも手代番頭小兵衛は七日よりその場所に詰めて出張している。これに関して酢茎
五十入り桶一つ、三十入り桶三つの外に、堺屋で二勺に六十入り合わせて二百本を遣わした。
十日丁丑曇り午後風雨 排徊祭を例年通り行った。
十一日戊寅晴れ 東宮御元服の日時が定められ、来る二十七日に御治定されるという。
十三日庚辰陰り午後雨降り 東宮御元服につき、来る十四日より七ヶ日の間
御祈祷が仰せ出され、経千が本宮参勤番である。中日は十七日という。○御家門で今日
御花見があり、三条大納言殿、久我中納言殿が御出席された。
十四日辛巳晴れ 秀子が妊娠五ヶ月につき、因州弁顕方より祝いとして鯣一連、
岩田帯紅白二筋を送られ、めでたく祝納した。使いの者へ鳥目
二百文、半紙二折を渡した。
十六日壬午晴れ 広司殿の姫君が近衛殿の御養女として仙台侯へ御婚礼のため
今朝御発輿された。○因州方へ昨日祝儀物を送ったことへの挨拶のため参った。
十七日癸未晴れ後雨 東宮御元服の御祈祷中日である。経千が

Third Month, Minor (29 days)
1st day, boshin, clear - The御下行 (bestowed items) for the Aoi Festival were distributed and received.
3rd day, kanoe-uma, clear - For the Jōshi (Boys' Day) celebration, ceremonial sake for the Hina dolls was bestowed as in previous years.
6th day, mizunoto-tori, clear - From the remaining distribution, after deducting various expenses, each person receives 4 kan 580 mon.
8th day, kinoto-i, clear - After lunch, the supervisory officials assembled at the middle council hall, where four or five matters were deliberated.
Documents regarding extraordinary expenses for the tiger and rabbit years were submitted by職中 Zhang Xian, Shinao, and others, and after everyone reviewed them, the assembly dispersed. However, since there are separate records of the decisions made, I omit them here.
9th day, hinoe-ne, brilliantly clear - The 19th meeting of the noble house's 200-monme stake lecture was held at Sanbongi, and I attended as usual. ○ The Satsuma domain lord's journey to Edo, passing through tomorrow the 10th with arrival at Fushimi station, so today from the rear quarters, Chiyozō, assistant Heizō, attendant Minosuke and others were summoned and dispatched to lodgings in Fushimi.
The assistant head clerk Kohei has been stationed there since the 7th. In connection with this, besides one bucket of 50 pickled stems and three buckets of 30, at Sakaiya, 60 items per 2 shaku, totaling 200 items were sent.
10th day, hinoto-ushi, cloudy, afternoon wind and rain - The Haihuai Festival was conducted as in previous years.
11th day, tsuchinoe-tora, clear - The date and time for the Crown Prince's coming-of-age ceremony was determined, to be fixed on the coming 27th day.
13th day, kanoe-tatsu, overcast, afternoon rain - Due to the Crown Prince's coming-of-age ceremony, from the coming 14th day for seven days
prayers were ordered, with Tsunechika serving the main shrine duty rotation. The middle day is the 17th. ○ Today the noble house held
flower viewing, with Minister of the Left Sanjō and Middle Counselor Kuga in attendance.
14th day, kanoto-mi, clear - As Hideko is five months pregnant, from Inshū Ben Akira's side, as congratulations, one string of dried squid and
iwata obi (pregnancy sash) in red and white were sent, which we celebrated and received auspiciously. To the messenger, 200 mon in coins
and two folds of half-paper were given.
16th day, mizunoe-uma, clear - Lord Hiroshi's daughter, as adopted daughter of Lord Konoe, departed this morning for her wedding to the Sendai lord. ○ Went to greet Inshū's side regarding the congratulatory gifts sent yesterday.
17th day, mizunoto-hitsuji, clear then rain - This is the middle day of prayers for the Crown Prince's coming-of-age ceremony. Tsunechika
