上り、かつ諸生をよろしく取り立てたことにより、二人扶持の御役
料を下賜され召し出された
但し、神道師範という役名を仰せ出され、席次は
内田牧太郎の次、浦上紀二郎の上に成し下された
件

and for this he was privately granted three pieces of silver.
- In the 8th month of the 2nd year [Kyōwa 2, 1802], having devoted his heart to Shinto and Japanese learning for many years,
performing various duties including lectures before his lord, and at the request of the Kikkawa family, going up to Edo for the return transmission of Shinto teachings, and furthermore successfully training many students, he was granted a stipend of two-person support as official salary and summoned to service.
However, he was given the official title of Shinto instructor, with his seat ranking placed below Uchida Makitarō and above Urakami Kijirō.
