一今日も新家方へ被贈候石伏被取ニ付博久保覚
躬清日雇両人川へ出頭也今日直ニ小もの喜八へ
為持被遣筈也
右之筈之処昨日被取候石伏今日小もの金八代り清七ニ
為持遣也尤西方新家入江善兵衛中井直次郎渡辺
十郎兵衛三人へ被遣也中井直次郎ゟハ返書来両人ハ
留守之由也尤此方名前ハ造作方三人也又今日
取候石伏ハ明朝喜八早朝致持参中宿ニ而惣代之

延引は難しい義理なので両人を残し置き、二人は下鴨へ返した。右の通りなので、いずれも先に引き上げさせ、後刻両郷から返答が出た次第でまた小寄合を催すようにと会所の学顕へ申し置いた。
今日の出席者は神主正久・業久・庸清・邦氏・季脩・保覚・保土である。世顕は御備番のため断り、保鹿山は出頭した。延保は杭木を伐採するため出頭につき断った。庸清・邦氏・季脩は去年以来の水掛かりを兼任で頼まれているためである。
一、今日も新家方へ贈られる石伏魚を取りに、博久・保覚・躬清・日雇い両人が川へ出頭した。今日直ちに小者の喜八へ持たせて遣わす予定である。
右の予定のところ、昨日取った石伏魚を今日、小者の金八の代わりに清七に持たせて遣わした。もっとも西方新家の入江善兵衛・中井直次郎・渡辺十郎兵衛三人へ遣わした。中井直次郎からは返書が来たが、両人は留守とのことである。もっともこちらの名前は造作方三人である。また今日取った石伏魚は明朝、喜八が早朝に持参し、中宿で惣代の出頭を待ち合わせている予定である。
一、未の半刻頃、小山郷・中村郷から口書に印形を押して持参した。文言は左の通り。

一、今日仰せ渡されました義について承知いたします。しかしながら他の本所方庄屋たちと相談して一決することが今のところできておりませんので、来る二十日まで日延べをお願い置きしました間、今日の義についてもお断り申し上げます。以上

Since postponement was a difficult matter, two people were kept behind while two were sent back to Shimogamo. Given this situation, everyone was first dismissed, and it was arranged with Gakuaki at the meeting place that another small council meeting would be called once responses came from both villages later.
Today's attendees were head priests Masahisa, Naruhisa, Tsunekiyo, Kunishi, Sueshū, Yasukaku, and Yasutsu. Yoaki was absent due to guard duty, and Yasuka from the mountain attended. Nobuyasu was absent because he was attending to the cutting of stakes. Tsunekiyo, Kunishi, and Sueshū were there because they had been entrusted with water-related duties since last year.
Today as well, to collect stonefish to be sent to the Shinka family, Hirohisa, Yasukaku, Mikiyo, and two day laborers went out to the river. They were scheduled to be sent immediately today via the servant Kihachi.
According to this plan, the stonefish caught yesterday were sent today via Seishichi in place of the servant Kinpachi. They were specifically sent to three people at Nishikata Shinka: Irie Zenbei, Nakai Naojirō, and Watanabe Jūrobei. A reply letter came from Nakai Naojirō, but the other two were away from home. The names from our side were the three construction officials. Also, the stonefish caught today are scheduled to be brought by Kihachi early tomorrow morning, and he will wait at the intermediate lodging for the representative to appear.
