世顕延保保覚被封之都合百幅出来弐幅ツヽ頂戴也
一今日葵絵府邦氏染筆出来ニ付裏表ニ葵之
御紋保土認之也右御守被封ニ付今日夕飯有之也
一評定預之箱躬清預り分一箱普俊方へ遣し
委細吟味候様就相談今日為持遣し保土学顕
封印故保土對を切ニ参候也尤季脩哲顕両人
被参合普俊と共ニ被尋候也此度井手分水之
出入ニ付何そ宜書物ニても可有之歟との義也
一右雷除之守認出来候迄評議所之床ニ而御酒
を供し神主祝詞被申候也依之浄衣也
一今日氏■一周忌取越ニ付対夜也従京も菓子
香奠等被越之水心庵入来也
一今日保覚ゟもみの木為持被越為植之也代物百銅也
昨夜暮比来故今日為植候也雇伊助也

現代語訳
世顕・延保・保覚が封印し、都合百幅ができ、二幅ずつ頂戴しました。
一、今日葵絵を府邦氏が染筆して出来上がったため、裏表に葵の御紋を保土が認めました。右の御守を封印するため、今日夕飯がありました。
一、評定預かりの箱で躬清預かり分の一箱を普俊方へ遣わし、詳細を吟味するよう相談して、今日持参させました。保土・学顕が封印のため、保土が対を切りに参りました。もっとも季脩・哲顕両人が参り合わせ、普俊と共に尋ねられました。この度の井手分水の出入りについて、何か良い書物でもあるでしょうかとの件です。
一、右の雷除けの守を認め終わるまで評議所の床で御酒を供し、神主が祝詞を申しました。よって浄衣です。
一、今日氏■の一周忌取越しのため対夜です。京からも菓子・香典等が送られ、水心庵が入来しました。
一、今日保覚からもみの木を持参されて植えました。代物は百銅です。昨夜暮れ頃に来たので今日植えました。雇いは伊助です。
五日卯の日 晴
一、今日は葵使首途の振舞いです。評議所での夕飯の人数は以下の通り：
葵使保韶・産幸・神主正久・月番業久・世顕・保鹿・延保・二月の番・評頭兼田（保韶は兼帯）・その外六役。
外にこの度葵指札の御頼みで認められたので■■邦氏が招かれました。
献立は以下の通り：
焼物 鮒煮漬 汁（こま々・かまほこ才）
鱠（しょうが・くらげ・赤貝） 香の物 飯
間（大根・金柑）

Yoaken, Enbo, and Hokaku sealed [the amulets], making a total of 100 pieces, receiving two pieces each.
- Today, Fukunishi completed the aoi paintings with brush and ink, so Hodo inscribed the aoi crests on both front and back. Since these sacred amulets were sealed, there was an evening meal today.
- Regarding the council custody box in Misei's care, one box was sent to Fushin's place, and after consulting about detailed examination, it was sent today. Hodo and Gakuken went for the sealing, with Hodo going to cut the pair. Moreover, both Kishu and Tetsuken attended and inquired together with Fushin. This concerns whether there might be any good documents regarding the current water rights dispute at Ide.
- Until the thunder protection amulets were completed, sake was offered on the platform of the council hall and the head priest recited prayers. Therefore ritual vestments were worn.
- Today is the vigil for the first anniversary memorial service for Uji■. Sweets, incense offerings, etc. were sent from Kyoto, and Suishinan came to visit.
- Today Hokaku brought a fir tree to be planted. The payment was 100 copper coins. Since it arrived around dusk last night, it was planted today. The hired worker was Isuke.
Fifth day, Day of the Rabbit - Clear
- Today is the farewell banquet for the Aoi Messenger's departure. The attendees for the evening meal at the council hall were as follows:
Aoi Messenger Hoshow, Sankō, Head Priest Masahisa, Monthly Duty Officer Naruhisa, Yoaken, Hoshika, Enbo, February duty officer, Council Head Kaneta (Hoshow serves concurrently), and six other officials.
Additionally, ■■ Fukunishi was invited because he was commissioned to write the aoi designation tablets this time.
The menu was as follows:
Grilled dishes, simmered and pickled crucian carp, soup (with fine-cut vegetables and kamaboko)
Raw fish salad (with ginger, jellyfish, ark shell), pickled vegetables, rice
Intermezzos (daikon radish, kumquats)
