延喜式第八に六月晦日の祝詞をのする
を見るに今卜神の家に中臣祓といへる
に大同にして首末の言葉小異也
六月に閏月あらは祓いつ行れん
やといふに後の六月に有へしといふこと

當社往昔造替之節は祝義として田楽
延年舞等あり弘治天正寛永ニハ能有

○《割書：群記類鑑二行目》六月祓 荒和祓 名越祓
延喜式第八に六月晦日の祝詞を載せるのを見ると、今日卜部神道の家に中臣祓と言われるものと大体同じで、最初と最後の言葉が少し異なるだけである。
六月に閏月があれば祓いはいつ行うのかという問いに対して、後の六月に行うべきだということが東鑑に記されている。
○猿楽 群記類鑑に
当社では昔から造替の節には祝賀の儀式として田楽や延年舞などがあった。弘治・天正・寛永年間には能楽があった。延宝年間にはその沙汰はなく、正徳年間にはあった。
《割書：氏之記》寛永五年当社御造替について氏之記には「十二月二十六日御遷宮の祝賀の能楽を庁屋南の芝生で行った。上古には田楽・延年舞などがあったが、この度は弘治・天正の例に準じて、当社楽頭矢田孫右衛門尉がこれを務めた」（以下略）とある。

Looking at the norito (Shinto prayers) for the last day of June recorded in Engishiki Book 8, they are largely the same as what is now called Nakatomi Purification in the houses of Urabe Shinto, with only minor differences in the opening and closing words.
Regarding the question of when to perform purification if there is an intercalary month in June, it is recorded in the Azuma Kagami that it should be performed in the latter sixth month.
○Sarugaku (Noh Theater) In Gunki Ruikan:
At this shrine, since ancient times, during reconstruction periods, there have been dengaku (field music) and ennen-mai (longevity dances) as celebratory ceremonies. During the Koji, Tensho, and Kan'ei periods, there were Noh performances. During the Enpo period, there was no such arrangement, but there were performances during the Shotoku period.
《Side note: Uji no Ki》Regarding the reconstruction of our shrine in Kan'ei 5 (1628), the Uji no Ki states: "On December 26th, celebratory Noh performances for the shrine transfer ceremony were held on the lawn south of the office building. Although in ancient times there were dengaku and ennen-mai dances, this time, following the precedent of the Koji and Tensho periods, the shrine's music director Yada Magoemon-no-jo performed them."
