なす其後（そのご）百日の間は禁（きん）じてあたへず
一／罌子（けし） 毒（どく）なし邪熱（じやねつ）を逐（お）ひ腹（はら）のくだりをとゝめ渇（かわき）を潤（うるほ）すこう
能（のう）あり痘中／首尾（しゆび）用（もちい）て妨（さまたけ）なしまた胡麻（ごま）は痘中／症（しやう）に
したがひて薬（くすり）に用ゆるといへとも痘後百日／禁（きん）すべし
一／餡（あん） またかんともいふ又よせこともいふ其製（そのせい）種類（しゆるい）多し紅豆（さゝげ）
小豆（あづき）白豆（しろまめ）豌豆（のらまめ）乾栗（からぐり）甘藷（さつまいも）の類にて飴（あめ）蜜（みつ）砂糖（さとう）に

茶を少し加えて与えるべきである。
一 葛粉 毒はない。痘疹中は始終いろいろなものを塩味噌に和えて煮て
食べるべきである。害はない。また葛餅はよく製して砂糖に和えて
痘疹中・痘疹後に与えるべきである。また蕨餅は小児・病人に与えてはならない。
痘疹中・痘疹後にこれを食べてはならない。害をなす。
一 黒大豆 この豆は種類が多い。痘疹中にみだりに用いてはならない。ただし煮豆は
痘疹中始終少々与えるべきである。炒り豆と豆の粉は痘疹中・痘疹後
百日間禁じるべきである。後に余毒を発散させるからである。また国によって
天然痘がすでに出てから八日目の日を山明けの日として
この日を待って白大豆をよく炒って神棚へ供え、また

痘児に二、三粒与えることがある。これを山明けの祝いと
する。その後百日の間は禁じて与えない。
一 芥子 毒はない。邪熱を追い払い腹の下痢を止め渇きを潤す効
能がある。痘疹中始終用いて害はない。また胡麻は痘疹中の症状に
従って薬に用いるといっても、痘疹後百日間は禁じるべきである。
一 餡 また「かん」ともいい、また「よせ」ともいう。その製法・種類は多い。ささげ、
小豆、白豆、えんどう豆、干し栗、さつまいもの類で飴・蜜・砂糖に
和えて製するものである。また蒸し菓子・饅頭ともに売り物は
この類が多い。その製法を選んで病人・小児に与えるべきである。
ただし餡（よせ）には気を下す力がある。砂糖は内をゆるくする。

- Black soybeans There are many varieties of this bean. It should not be used carelessly during smallpox. However, boiled beans
should be given in small amounts throughout smallpox. Roasted beans and bean powder should be
forbidden during smallpox and for one hundred days after. This is because they later cause residual toxicity to disperse. Also, depending on the region,
the eighth day after smallpox has already emerged is considered the "mountain opening" day,
and waiting for this day, white soybeans are well-roasted and offered to the household shrine, and also

After that, it is forbidden to give them for one hundred days.
- Poppy seeds They have no toxicity. They have the efficacy of expelling evil heat, stopping diarrhea, and moistening thirst.
They may be used throughout smallpox without harm. Also, although sesame is used in medicine according to symptoms during smallpox, it should be forbidden for one hundred days after smallpox.
- Sweet bean paste Also called "kan" and also called "yose." Its preparation methods and varieties are many. Made from adzuki beans,
small red beans, white beans, garden peas, dried chestnuts, sweet potatoes and the like, mixed with candy, honey, and sugar
in preparation. Also, steamed sweets and manjū that are sold
are mostly of this type. Their preparation should be selected when giving to patients and children.
However, sweet paste (yose) has the power to move qi downward. Sugar loosens the interior.
