- On June 25th, [the lord] went out to Ichinami for river hunting (returned to the castle on July 1st).
- On July 2nd, a message came from Ōmetsuke Andō Chikugo-no-kami (Nobumoto), and when the Edo residence keeper appeared,

strictly place [offenders] in the custody of relatives or family connections. Furthermore, regarding compassion for living beings,
as has been repeatedly proclaimed, this should be observed ever more strictly and applied with great care.
Ushi, 6th month [1697]
