一 十月十日 大目付安藤筑後守信岑殿から連絡があり、御留守居松原善左衛門矩成が出向いたところ、火の用心の件について以下の通り御書付をお渡しされた。
覚書
火の元をいよいよ堅固に申し付けること。もし出火した際は、火消を待たずに当人はもちろん近所の者たちを召し連れて人数を出して消火すること。火消が次々に参上してきたら、近所の者たちは引き取って、それぞれ自分の屋敷の消火をするよう仰せ出されている。この趣旨を心得ておくこと。以上

一 同月十五日 老中阿部豊後守正武殿へ使者として御留守居を遣わし、今日本多孫太郎長員屋敷を御普請奉行へ引き渡しが済んだ旨をご報告した。
一 十一月十二日 御側御用人中へ出向かれ、御講読拝聴の御願いを申し入れられた。
一 同月二十一日（午前五時半頃）上之筋で出火したため出馬されたが、鎮火したためお引き取りになった。
ただし、早速鎮火したため届け出はしなかった。
一 同日（午前八時前）上野山内松林院で出火したため出馬されたが、鎮火したためお引き取りになった。この件について使者として御留守居村上三太夫正峰を遣わし、老中土屋相模守茂直殿へご報告した。

October 10th: A message came from Great Inspector Andō Chikugo-no-kami Nobumine, and deputy Matsubara Zenzaemon Norinari went to him and received the following written instructions regarding fire precautions:
Memorandum
Fire prevention measures should be strictly enforced. In case of fire, without waiting for fire brigades, the person in charge as well as neighbors should gather people and work to extinguish the fire. When fire brigades arrive in succession, neighbors should withdraw and attend to firefighting at their respective residences, as has been ordered. Keep this directive in mind. The above.

October 15th: A messenger was sent via the deputy to Senior Councilor Abe Bungo-no-kami Masatake to report that the handover of Honda Magotarō Naganori's residence to the Construction Magistrate was completed today.
November 12th: [He] visited the Chamberlain Attendants and made a request for reading and listening privileges.
November 21st (around 5:30 AM): Due to a fire in the Kaminosuji area, [he] rode out, but as it was extinguished, [he] returned.
However, since it was quickly extinguished, no formal report was made.
Same day (before 8 AM): Due to a fire at Shōrinji temple in the Ueno hills, [he] rode out, but as it was extinguished, [he] returned. Regarding this matter, deputy Murakami Santayū Masamine was sent as messenger to report to Senior Councilor Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami Shigenao.
