一 二月十四日 上使朽木伊予守季綱殿を通じて喪中のお見舞いがあった。伊予守殿がお越しの際は御裏塀重門まで出迎え、ご案内して御書院へお通しした。上意の趣旨をお伝えいただき、ご退出後、右のお礼のため御大老・御老中・御側用人（喪中の廻勤のことは実際のところどうなのか。もし御同姓の御方で御名代が廻勤をなさる場合、別のやり方があるのではないか【異筆】）並びに伊予守殿へ廻勤し、若年寄中へ御使者を派遣した。
一 同月十七日
綱昌様ご逝去につき、御国表において鳴物・普請等を来る二十六日まで停止するよう仰せ出された。
ただし昨日十六日に江戸表より御徒飛脚が福井へ到着した。
一 同日 深川霊巖寺にて去る十五日より今日まで（二夜三日）
清浄院様御当座の御法事が執行された。

清浄院様の御法号が江戸表より御徒飛脚（喜多嶋助太夫）によって伝えられたため、浄光院において御茶湯が執行された。

1. February 14th - An official messenger, Kuchiki Iyo-no-kami Suetsuna, came to offer condolences during the mourning period. When Iyo-no-kami visited, he was received at the rear gate's main entrance, escorted and led to the reception hall. The shogun's message was conveyed, and after his departure, to express gratitude for this, visits were made to the Great Elder, Senior Councilors, and Chamberlains (What is the actual practice regarding official visits during mourning? If relatives send representatives to make official visits, might there be different procedures? [different handwriting]) as well as to Iyo-no-kami, and messengers were dispatched to the Junior Councilors.
