【勝之進直敬について】
（初名：幸次郎、安永三午年〔1774年〕九月三日誕生）
母は前記と同じ。
妻は荻野丈右衛門定直（森肥後守様御家来）の妹。
一、寛政九巳年（1797年）七月、鎗術の〆り方（締め方）を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十一月、印西派弓術の〆り方を仰せ付けられた。
一、同十午年（1798年）八月、太子流剣術の〆り方を仰せ付けられた。
一、同十一未年（1799年）二月、貞昭様御供方御雇を仰せ付けられた。
但し、この後も度々仰せ付けられた。
一、同年三月、良徳院様御近習番御雇を仰せ付けられた。

(First name: Kojirō; born on the third day of the ninth month of Anei 3, the Year of the Horse [1774])
Mother: same as previously stated.
Wife: younger sister of Ogino Jōuemon Sadanao (a retainer of Lord Mori Higo-no-kami).
- In the seventh month of Kansei 9, the Year of the Snake (1797), he was appointed as the supervisor (shimari-kata) of spear arts (sōjutsu).
- In the eleventh month of the same year, he was appointed as the supervisor of Inzai-school archery (kyūjutsu).
- In the eighth month of Kansei 10, the Year of the Horse (1798), he was appointed as the supervisor of Taishi-ryū swordsmanship (kenjutsu).
- In the second month of Kansei 11, the Year of the Sheep (1799), he was appointed on a hired basis as an attendant (otomo-kata) to Lord Teishō.
Note: He was appointed to this role repeatedly thereafter.
- In the third month of the same year, he was appointed on a hired basis as a close attendant (gokinju-ban) to Lady Ryōtoku-in.
