【勝之進直敬について（続き）】
一、（前頁より続き）弓断指南方手伝勤を仰せ付けられた。
一、享和元酉年（1801年）七月、寿鳳院様御安産の節、蟇目介添を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十月、御出産の蟇目御用を滞りなく勤めたことにより、貞昭様より銀子一枚を下し置かれた。
一、同月、寿鳳院様・幻光院様より綿三把を下し置かれた。
一、同二戌年（1802年）十二月、かねてより弓術に心を込めてよく修練し、御家中への指南にも精を出し、諸生を取り立ててきたことにより、学校料の内をもって三人扶持を下し置かれた。
一、同三亥年（1803年）九月、加納大和守様よりこちら様（会津藩）へのご依頼により、栄太郎様・六郎様への弓術御指南を申し上げるよう仰せ付けられた。
但し、本多因幡守様へも同様に仰せ付けられた。

- (Continued from previous page) He was appointed to assist as an instructor of bow-relinquishment (yumi-dan shinan-kata tetsudai-kin).
- In the seventh month of Kōwa 1, the Year of the Rooster (1801), he was appointed as an assistant for the *hikime* ritual at the time of Lady Juhō-in's safe delivery.
- In the tenth month of the same year, having carried out the *hikime* ceremonial duties at the birth without any delay or incident, he was granted one piece of silver by Lord Teishō.
- In the same month, he was granted three bundles of cotton by Lady Juhō-in and Lady Genkō-in.
- In the twelfth month of Kōwa 2, the Year of the Dog (1802), because he had long devoted himself wholeheartedly to archery, diligently instructed members of the domain, and cultivated many students, he was granted a stipend of three-person rations (*sannin-fuchi*) from the school fund (*gakkō-ryō*).
- In the ninth month of Kōwa 3, the Year of the Boar (1803), at the request of Lord Kanō Yamato-no-kami to this domain (Aizu), he was appointed to provide instruction in archery to Lord Eitarō and Lord Rokurō.
Note: He was similarly appointed to instruct under Lord Honda Inaba-no-kami as well.
