Item: In the second month of Bunka 3, the Year of the Tiger (1806), on the very day of Lord Kinbun (Matsudaira Katazumi)'s succession to the domain headship, he was appointed to escort duty (*otomobан*), on a hired basis, for that day only.
Item: In the twelfth month of the same year, he was appointed to the *tozama-shi* (outside retainer) hired service.
Note: He was appointed to this role repeatedly thereafter.
Item: In the fourth month of Bunka 4, the Year of the Rabbit (1807), he was appointed to the role of *kenjutsu shimari-kata* (supervisor/overseer of swordsmanship).
Item: In the sixth month of Bunka 7, the Year of the Horse (1810), his inherited stipend (*atoshiki gochigyō*) of one hundred and fifty *koku* was confirmed without dispute and granted to him.
