一、文政二卯年（1819年）八月、寿鳳院様御殿にて鳴弦ならびに火鎮の神事について、大竹勇の手伝いを相勤めるよう仰せ付けられ、相済んだことにより御褒美として金二百疋を下し置かれた。
一、同三辰年（1820年）十二月、御殿御普請御成就につき、蟇目御用を伯父の勝之進へ手伝い相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同四巳年（1821年）正月、吉辰につき蟇目御用手伝いを滞りなく相勤めた。
一、同五午年（1822年）九月、不時の節、田中鉄次郎組の甲士を仰せ付けられた。

Item: In the eighth month of the second year of Bunsei, the Year of the Rabbit (Bunsei 2, 1819), he was ordered to assist Ōtake Isamu in performing the *meigen* (bowstring-twanging) ritual and the fire-quelling (*hishizume*) Shinto ceremony at the Juhōin-sama's palace. Upon completion, he was awarded two hundred *hiki* in gold as a mark of commendation.
Item: In the twelfth month of the third year of the same era, the Year of the Dragon (Bunsei 3, 1820), upon the successful completion of construction works (*gofushin*) at the palace, he was ordered to assist his uncle Katsu-no-shin with the *hikime* ceremonial arrow duties.
Item: In the first month of the fourth year of the same era, the Year of the Snake (Bunsei 4, 1821), on an auspicious day, he fulfilled without delay the duty of assisting with the *hikime* ceremonial arrow ritual.
Item: In the ninth month of the fifth year of the same era, the Year of the Horse (Bunsei 5, 1822), in an emergency situation, he was appointed as a *kōshi* (armored warrior/cavalryman) in Tanaka Tetsujiō's unit.
