現代語訳
（前頁からの続き）御情けにより二十石三人扶持を下し置かれ、召し出され、勤め方の義は追って仰せ付けられるべき旨、仰せ出され候事。
一、同年十二月
真照院様御懐守役を仰せ付けられ、江戸常詰を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同十一寅年（元禄十一年）二月
紹栴院様御登り遊ばされ候につき、御道中御守刀を持ち、御供として登られ候様に仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同年四月二十六日
紹栴院様、会津より御発駕、五月四日江戸へ御着き遊ばされ、翌五日より真照院様へ御奉公仕り候事。
一、宝永四年亥年二月
真照院様御納戸兼役を仰せ付けられ候。
但し、翌子年までの二ケ年相勤め候事。

(Continued from previous page) By [the lord's] benevolence, a stipend of twenty *koku* and provisions for three persons was granted, and he was called into service; as for the nature of his duties, it was declared that further instructions would be issued in due course.
1. The 12th month of the same year [Genroku 10, 1697]:
He was appointed to the role of *Okaidanmori* (personal attendant/guardian) to Lady Shinshō-in, and was assigned to permanent duty in Edo.
1. The 2nd month of the 11th year of the same era, Year of the Tiger [Genroku 11, 1698]:
Upon Lady Shōsen-in's journey to [Edo], he was ordered to accompany her, carrying the guardian sword, as part of her entourage for the journey.
1. The 26th day of the 4th month of the same year:
Lady Shōsen-in departed from Aizu, arrived in Edo on the 4th day of the 5th month, and from the following 5th day, he entered into service attending Lady Shinshō-in.
1. The 2nd month of Hōei 4, Year of the Boar [1707]:
He was appointed to the additional role of *Onandо* (keeper of the inner storehouse/chamberlain) for Lady Shinshō-in.
*Note: He served in this combined role for two years, until the following Year of the Rat.*
1. The 1st month of the 5th year of the same era, Year of the Rat [Hōei 5, 1708]:
As he had not received the general clemency/relief [granted to others], he was awarded two bolts of silk as a reward.
