Item: In the second month of the tenth year of Bunka (*tsuchi-no-to tori*, 1813), he was appointed on a provisional (*tōza*) basis as a clerical worker (*kakimono*) at the御用所 (*go-yōsho*, the administrative office).
Item: In the eighth month of the same year, he was appointed on a provisional basis as a minor functionary (*ko-yakunin*) at the御勘定所 (*go-kanjō-sho*, the accounting office).
Item: In the tenth month of the eleventh year of the same era (*tsuchi-no-e inu*, 1814), five *to* was deducted from his father's assessed stipend (*gisaku*), and he was granted nine *koku* and five *to* plus a maintenance allowance for three persons (*san-nin fuchi*). He was thereupon called into service and formally appointed as a minor functionary (*ko-yakunin*) on permanent assignment (*jōzume*) at the accounting office (*go-kanjō-sho*).
