[Second wife:] Sister of Nakamura Shigetayū (a retainer of Lord Ishikawa Wakasa-no-Kami). (Born in Kyōhō 1, Year of the Monkey [1716]. Died of illness on the 25th day of the 6th month of Genbun 5, Year of the Monkey [1740], at the age of twenty-five. Posthumous Buddhist name: Roku'in Hōju Shinnyo. Place of burial: same as above.)
[Third wife:] Sister of荻野 Oginō Mataemon (a retainer of Lord Mori Izumi-no-Kami). (Born in Shōtoku 1, Year of the Rabbit [1711]. Died of illness on the 14th day of the 7th month of Meiwa 3, Year of the Dog [1766], at the age of fifty-six. Posthumous Buddhist name: Ryōan'in Ōba Chishū Daishi. Place of burial: same as above.)

The hereditary stipend of one hundred *koku* was granted without dispute, and he was assigned to the *Edo jōzume* (permanent Edo duty) *tozama* unit, serving as a *hirōma* guard in the unit of Yamazaki Sasuke.
1. The 2nd month of the 18th year of the same era, Year of the Ox [Kyōhō 18, 1733]:
Having been ordered to assist with the canal/moat dredging public works project (*o-hori sarae go-fushin*), he was appointed to the role of fire-watch (*hikeshi-kata*) at the construction site.

1. The 6th month of the 19th year of the same era, Year of the Tiger [Kyōhō 19, 1734]:
He was appointed to the *o-tomo-ban* (escort guard duty).
Note: During his period of service, he performed the temporary role of *o-toban* (gate guard) five times, and the temporary role of *o-tsugiban* (attendant guard) four times; furthermore, he was commended ten times for completing each rotation of duty without any delays.
