都（すべ）て弁（わきまへ）少（すくな）き人（ひと）に教（おしへ）んと多
年（ねん）養蚕（やうさん）に心（こゝろ）を委（ゆだね）壁書（へきしよ）を
今（いま）清集（せいしう）して桜（さくら）木に耕（たがやさ）ん
とす塚田（つかた）氏の曰（いわく）若（もし）結城（ゆうき）福（ふく）
島（しま）におひて養蚕（やうさん）の術（てだて）違（ちが）
ひあるや否（いなや）願（ねがわく）は心（こゝろ）をひとつに
して宜（よろしき）術あらば是（これ）に加（くわ）へ

よとあるに任（まか）せ繰返（くりかへ）し見るに
聊（いさゝか）予（よ）が国（くに）の術（てだて）に洩所（もるゝところ）なし
あはれ皆（みな）此（この）小篇（せうへん）のごとくせ
ば其家（そのいへ）富貴（ふうき）に基（もとつく）のみならず
天地（てんち）の財（たから）悉（こと〴〵く）殖（ふへ）ん事（こと）潮（うしほ）の満（みつ）
るに等（ひと）しからむ朝（あした）に見ては
其日（そのひ）の徳（とく）を求（もとめ）夕（ゆふへ）にひろげて

すべて知識の乏しい人々に教えようと、長年養蚕に心を注ぎ、壁に書き留めた記録を今清らかに集めて、桜の木版に刻もうとしている。塚田氏が言うには「もし結城や福島において養蚕の技術に違いがあるかどうか、願わくは心を一つにして、良い技術があればこれに加えてほしい」
