る事あり是は獅子前 高所（たかきところ）へあげ暑（しよ）に
あたりたる蚕なり揚り五六分又竹舟の時分
うきの中に水 色（いろ）に白くすきたる蚕 沢山（たくさん）に
見ゆる時には庭前にのこらず悪（あし）くなる
ものなり是は獅子前火ずしなどへ揚け
又は掃立（はきたて）より二階（にかい）にて育（そだて）桑子もくれず
して下にて火をつよく焼（たき）暑（しよ）にあたりたる
蚕なり是蚕の強病（ごうびやう）としるべし又蚕正し
くして一旦（いつたん）にふぞろひになり蚕の居敷（ゐしき）

きゆへ萱根（かやね）より天日にさし込（こみ）あり是にあたり
たる蚕なり揚り三四分また 休（やすみ）の起（をき）はだに色もかは
らず死する事あり是は壁（かべ）の外（そと）にて火を強（つよ）
く焼（たき）壁（かべ）のほなふにあたりたる蚕なり是は
のこりたる蚕は用立（ようたつ）ものなり其外（そのほか）蚕の病（やまひ）
数（かず）しれがたし多（おほ）くは庭起（にはをき）にあしくなる
蚕は獅子前つよくあたゝめたる蚕に出るものと

ることがある。これは二眠前に高い所へ上げて暑さに当たった蚕である。上がりは五六分である。また竹舟の時分に浮き蚕の中に水色に白く透けた蚕が沢山見える時には、四眠前に残らず悪くなるものである。これは二眠前に火鉢などへ上げた、または掃き立てから二階で育てて桑も暮れずに下で火を強く焚いて暑さに当たった蚕である。これを蚕の強病と知るべきである。また蚕が正しくしていて一旦に不揃いになり、蚕の居敷きから

出ることがある。これは新宅で萱が新しいゆえに萱根から天日が差し込んであり、これに当たった蚕である。上がりは三四分である。また休眠の起き際に肌の色も変わらず死することがある。これは壁の外で火を強く焚き、壁の穂波に当たった蚕である。これは残った蚕は役に立つものである。その外、蚕の病気は数知れがたい。多くは四眠で悪くなる蚕は二眠前に強く温めた蚕に出るものと知るべきである。
