とりかへべし少しも天日にあてたるに違（たかひ）ある
べからずしかし度々心付 油断（ゆだん）あるべからず
其外 炒（いり）やうふかしやういろ〳〵ありといへとも中に
此 術（てたて）は繭（まゆ）のぎん又は糸のたちにさはらざる
ものなり

右は我（われ）幼少（ようせう）の頃（ころ）より蚕（かいこ）に疑（うたが）ひを起（おこ）
し久敷心を尽（つく）すといへども定（さだ）かにしれ
かたく夫（それ）より二十年に及（をよべ）ども養育（やういく）の
理（り）にとゞまらずある年（とし）三所（さんしよ）に棚（たな）を
隔（へだ）て一所（ひとところ）は紙帳（しちやう）を掛 火鉢（ひはち）を置（をき）一所（ひとところ）は
衣類（いるい）なとを掛火の側（そば）に置（をき）一所は棚へ
さし入れ寒（さむさ）にかまはず育（そだて）右 紙帳（しちやう）の養（やう）
育（いく）と衣類（いるい）を掛 育（そだて）たると此《振り仮名：二ヶ所｜に しよ》は庭（には）
起（をき）に不残（のこらず）あしくなり又 寒（さむさ）に《振り仮名：不＿レ搆｜かまはず》そだて

取り替えるべきである。少しも天日に当てたのと違いがある
べきではない。しかし度々気を付け、油断があってはならない。
その他、炒り方、蒸し方いろいろあるといっても、その中で
この手立ては繭の銀又は糸の立ちに影響しない
ものである。

The above reflects how I have harbored doubts about silkworms since my childhood,
