疳（かん）の字（じ）は疒（やまひたれ）に甘（あまき）と書（か）き。肺疳（はいかん）心肝（しんかん）脾疳（ひかん）肝疳（かんかん）腎疳（じんかん）と云（いふ）。共（とも）に
みな脾虚（ひきよ）より発（おこ）ると医書（ゐしよ）に見へたり。此（この）理（ことはり）にうとき人は。肺疳（はいかん）
といへば肺（はい）の療治（れうぢ）し。心疳（しんかん）と見れば心（しん）の療治（れうぢ）をなすゆゑに。いつまで
薬（くすり）を用（もち）ゆるとも疾根（やまひのもと）を治（なほ）することなく。終（つひ）に大病（たいびやう）の礎（いしづえ）となる。これ
根本（こんほん）の脾胃（ひゐ）の療治（れうぢ）をせざるゆゑなり。能々（よく〳〵）考（かんが）へ給ふへし。小児（せうに）の病（やまひ）
脾虚（ひのよはり）より発（おこ）る証（しるし）は。諸病（しよびやう）のはじめ。みな。吐乳（ちをあます）か。秘結（うらとをく）なるか。泄瀉（くだる）か。いづれ
この三ツにあり。此（この）三証（さんせう）は脾胃虚（ひゐのよはき）の所為（しわさ）なり。此症（このせう）ひとつにてもあらば
疾（やまひ）の気（き）ざすと心得（こゝろえ）て。急（いそ）き薬（くすり）をもちゆべし。外（ほか）に小児（せうに）は大人とちがひ。
ほしいをしいといふ貪慾（とんよく）の心（こゝろ）なければ。病（やまひ）を生（しやう）すべきことなし。予（よ）が良剤（くすり）
は。根本（こんぽん）の脾胃（ひゐ）を補益（とゝのへ）五／臓（ぞう）六／腑（ぷ）の虚実（きよじつ）。陰陽（いんやう）を養育（やういく）するゆゑ。
脾肝薬王円（ひかんやくわうゑん）と号（なつ）く。常（つね）に服薬（ふくやく）の輩（ともから）は。万病（まんびやう）発（はつ）することなく。いか程（ほど）やせ
衰（おとろ）へ気（き）みじかく或（あるひ）は気（き）重（おも）く。或（あるひ）は腰（こし）膝（ひざ）ひきつり。ちんばとなる。小児（せうに）たり
とも人（ひと）の根本（こんぼん）の脾胃（ひゐ）を補（をきな）ひ。胎毒（たいどく）を《振り仮名：消解｜しやうげ｜けす 》するゆゑ。諸病（しよびやう）の根（ね）をたち。
生（うま）れたる日数（ひかず）年数（としかず）のわりより。大（おほ）きに丈夫（じやうぶ）になり奇妙（きめう）にほうさう軽（かる）く。

〇臨産（りんさん）の節（とき）心得（こゝろえ）の事 《割書：附》乱心（らんしん）
先（まづ）産婦（さんふ）に安生散（あんせいさん）を用（もち）ゆべし。何程（いかほど）むつかしき逆子（さかご）横子（よこご）等（など）の難産（なんさん）
にても。母子（おやこ）とも怪我（けか）あやまちなく。早（はや）く出生（しゆつしやう）すること疑（うたが）ひなし。薦（こも）の
うへに居直（ゐなほ）ることおそき程（ほと）よし。居直（ゐなほ）りて後（のち）温酒（あたゝめざけ）にて壱弐ふく
現代語訳
疳の字は病垂れに甘と書き、肺疳・心疳・脾疳・肝疳・腎疳という。これらは共に
みな脾虚から発すると医書に見える。この理を理解していない人は、肺疳
といえば肺の治療をし、心疳と見れば心の治療をするため、いつまで
薬を用いても病気の根本を治すことなく、ついに大病の基礎となる。これは
根本の脾胃の治療をしないためである。よくよく考えていただきたい。小児の病気が
脾虚から発する証拠は、諸病のはじめに、みな吐乳するか、便秘になるか、下痢するか、いずれか
この三つにある。この三証は脾胃虚の仕業である。この症状が一つでもあれば
疾病の兆しと心得て、急いで薬を用いるべきである。その他に小児は大人と違い、
欲しい惜しいという貪欲の心がないので、病気を生じるはずがない。私の良薬
は、根本の脾胃を補益し五臓六腑の虚実、陰陽を養育するので、
脾肝薬王円と名付ける。常に服薬する者は、万病が発することなく、どれほど痩せ
衰え気力が短くなったり、あるいは気が重くなったり、あるいは腰膝がひきつって跛行となる小児であっ
ても、人の根本の脾胃を補い、胎毒を消解するので、諸病の根を断ち、
生まれた日数・年数の割合より大きく丈夫になり、不思議なほど軽やかになり、
万病が発生することがないので、生まれながら気丈であるように思われる。私の神薬の
妙効があることを理解する人は稀である。願わくは年久しく諸薬を用い効果なく、とても
死病と覚悟を決めた病人に用い、夕立の雲が晴れて快晴に
なったような効験を見せたい。
〇臨産の節の心得の事 附：乱心
まず産婦に安生散を用いるべきである。どれほど難しい逆子・横子などの難産
でも、母子とも怪我や過失なく、早く出生することは疑いない。薦の
上に座り直すことが遅いほどよい。座り直した後、温めた酒で一、二服

these three conditions. These three symptoms are the work of spleen-stomach deficiency. If even one of these symptoms appears,
understand it as a sign of impending disease and urgently use medicine. Additionally, unlike adults, children
have no greedy hearts that want or covet things, so they should not generate diseases. My good medicine
supplements and benefits the fundamental spleen and stomach, nourishing the deficiency and excess of the five organs and six bowels, and yin and yang, so
I call it the Spleen-Liver Medicine King Pills. Those who regularly take this medicine will not develop myriad diseases, no matter how much they become thin and
weakened with shortened vitality, or heavy qi, or contracted waist and knees becoming lame. Even such children,
because it supplements the fundamental spleen and stomach of humans and dissolves fetal toxins, cuts the roots of various diseases,
becoming much more robust than their birth days and years would suggest, becoming mysteriously light and agile,
and since myriad diseases do not arise, they seem naturally spirited from birth. Few people understand that my divine medicine has
such wonderful effects. I wish to use it on patients who have used various medicines for many years without effect and have
resigned themselves to fatal diseases, showing efficacy like clearing clouds from an evening shower to bright sunshine.
