現代語訳
一、延享二丑年（1745）八月、武芸を修め極めたとして御賞美を賜った件。
一、同年十一月、御城御番を怠りなく二十年間勤めたとして御賞美を賜った件。
一、宝暦元未年（1751）六月、頭（組頭）の田中加兵衛が若年寄を仰せ付けられたことにより、堀半右衛門組に移ることになった件。
一、同（宝暦）三酉年（1753）正月、御城御番を怠りなく三十年間勤めたとして御賞美を賜った件。
一、同（宝暦）十辰年（1760）十一月、三十八年間皆勤したことにより、時服一つを下し置かれるとのお言葉を賜った件。
一、同（宝暦）十二午年（1762）正月、頭（組頭）の堀半右衛門が御役御免となったことにより、その後の御役は上田八郎右衛門組に移ることになった件。
一、同（宝暦）十三未年（1763）二月二日、六十一歳にて病死。法名は伝俊院林芳祖融居士。葬所は同上（前記と同じ）。

One item: In the 8th month of the 2nd year of Enkyō (1745), the year of the Ox, he was commended for having mastered the martial arts.

One item: In the 6th month of the 1st year of Hōreki (1751), the year of the Sheep, following the appointment of his unit commander Tanaka Kahyōe as a junior elder (wakadoshiyori), he was transferred to the unit under Hori Hanemon.
One item: In the 1st month of the 3rd year of Hōreki (1753), the year of the Rooster, he was commended for having served thirty years of castle guard duty without negligence.
One item: In the 11th month of the 10th year of Hōreki (1760), the year of the Dragon, he was granted a set of seasonal garments (jifuku) in recognition of thirty-eight years of perfect attendance in service.
One item: In the 1st month of the 12th year of Hōreki (1762), the year of the Horse, following the dismissal of his unit commander Hori Hanemon from his post, he was subsequently transferred to the unit under Ueda Hachirōuemon.
One item: On the 2nd day of the 2nd month of the 13th year of Hōreki (1763), the year of the Sheep, he died of illness at the age of sixty-one. His posthumous Buddhist name was Denshuinin Rinhōsoyu Koji. His place of burial is the same as stated above.
