 妻原佐五右衛門俊峰女《割書:文政三辰年二月二日四拾八歳|ニ而病死法名郭明院桃宝|照花大姉導師祥雲山善龍|寺葬所大窪山》 一寛政四子年六月跡式御知行百石  無御相違被下置外様組付被  仰付神保内蔵之助組ニ入 御城御  番相勤候事 一同月是迄之通学校誦師相勤  候様右ニ付 御城御番幷居役  着到御免被成之旨被 仰出候事 一同五丑年九月追鳥狩之節罷  出候事 一同七卯年正月学校被転候ニ付誦  師勤御免被成是迄出精相勤候  ニ付為御褒美綿壱把被下置候事 一同九巳年八月追鳥狩之節罷  出候   但此後六度罷出内壱度ならし   として本郷原江罷出壱宿   仕候事 一同年九月当追鳥狩之節足

現代語訳

妻は原佐五右衛門俊峰の女(むすめ)。〔文政三辰年(1820)二月二日、四十八歳にて病死。法名、郭明院桃宝照花大姉。導師、祥雲山善龍寺。葬所、大窪山。〕 一、寛政四子年(1792)六月、跡式御知行百石、相違なく下し置かれ、外様組付を仰せ付けられ、神保内蔵之助組に入り、御城御番を相勤めた件。 一、同月、これまでの通り学校誦師を相勤めるよう、これにより御城御番ならびに居役着到は御免になる旨、仰せ出された件。 一、同五丑年(1793)九月、追鳥狩の節、罷り出た件。 一、同七卯年(1795)正月、学校が改められたため、誦師勤めを御免になり、これまで出精して相勤めたことにより、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれた件。 一、同九巳年(1797)八月、追鳥狩の節、罷り出た。   但し、この後六度罷り出、うち一度ならしとして本郷原へ罷り出、一宿いたした件。 一、同年九月、当追鳥狩の節、足(以下次頁へ続く)

Wife: daughter of Hara Sagouemon Toshimine. [Died of illness on the second day of the second month of Bunsei 3, the year of the Dragon (1820), at the age of forty-eight. Posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō): Kakumeiin Tōhō Shōka Daishi. Officiating monk (dōshi): from Shōunzan Zenryūji temple. Place of burial: Ōkuboyama.] One item: In the sixth month of Kansei 4, the year of the Rat (1792), he was granted the hereditary stipend (atoshiki go-chigyō) of one hundred koku without any change, was assigned to the Tozama-gumi unit, placed in the unit of Jinbo Kuranosuke, and duly performed duties as castle guard (o-shiro o-ban). One item: In the same month, he was directed to continue serving as a school recitation instructor (judoshi) as before; accordingly, he was relieved of the duty of attending the castle guard muster roll (chakutō) for both castle guard and residential duty (iryaku). One item: In the ninth month of the fifth year, the year of the Ox (1793), he turned out [for service] on the occasion of the falconry hunt (oitori-gari). One item: In the first month of the seventh year, the year of the Rabbit (1795), as the school [system] was reorganized, he was relieved of his duties as recitation instructor. In recognition of his diligent service up to that point, he was awarded one bundle of cotton (wata hitotaba) as a reward. One item: In the eighth month of the ninth year, the year of the Snake (1797), he turned out [for service] on the occasion of the falconry hunt.   Note: After this, he turned out on six occasions in total, and on one occasion, as a preliminary exercise (narashi), he went out to Hongōhara and lodged there for one night.
