現代語訳
〔以前のページより続き：九石二人扶持を〕拝領し、普請小奉行として召し出された。
一、同二十〔寛永二十〕年未年〔1643年〕七月、江戸芝の御屋敷を御拝領されたことに伴い、舟尾九右衛門と両人で江戸表へ召し登られ、同年八月、会津への御入部の節に御供をして罷り下った。
一、同年九月、小川庄栃堀村の御関所番を仰せ付けられた。
一、正保三年戌年〔1646年〕十一月、六石一人扶持の御加増を拝領し、赤谷御番所へ取り替えを仰せ付けられた。
一、寛文十二年子年〔1672年〕〔月は不詳〕、病気につき、倅（せがれ）久左衛門に代役を仰せ付けられた。
一、延宝五年巳年〔1677年〕十二月八日、七十二歳にて病死。法名：心外無法居士。葬所：祥雲山善龍寺。

[Continued from the previous page: was granted a stipend of 9 koku and a ration allowance for 2 persons] and was summoned to serve as a Junior Superintendent of Construction (普請小奉行).
1\. In the 7th month of the same 20th year, Year of the Ram, Kan'ei \[1643\], upon the lord's acquisition of the residence at Shiba in Edo, he and Funao Kuemon were both summoned to travel to Edo, and in the 8th month of the same year, he served in the escort party upon the lord's entry into Aizu and accompanied the procession back.
2\. In the 9th month of the same year, he was appointed to serve as a checkpoint guard (関所番) at Tochihori Village in Ogawa-no-shō.
3\. In the 11th month of Shōhō 3, Year of the Dog \[1646\], he was granted an increase of 6 koku and a ration allowance for 1 person, and was reassigned to the Akatani checkpoint (赤谷御番所).
4\. In the Year of the Rat, Kanbun 12 \[1672\] (month unknown), due to illness, his son Kyūzaemon was appointed to serve in his place.
5\. On the 8th day of the 12th month of Enpō 5, Year of the Snake \[1677\], he died of illness at the age of 72. Posthumous Buddhist name: Shingai Muhō Koji. Place of burial: Shōunzan Zenryūji Temple.
