一同六巳年八月蝦夷地御固御用
致勤労候ニ付為御褒美御時服一ツ

一、同（文化）六巳年（1809）八月、蝦夷地御固御用において勤労に努めたにつき、御褒美として御時服一つを下し置かれた。
一、同月、追鳥狩のため本郷原へ罷り出て、一宿いたした。
但し、この後二度罷り出た内、一度、獲物を拝領いたした。
一、同年十月、当追鳥狩の節、列伍・足並みが相揃い、運用滞りなき段、かねてより合鉄稽古にも出精いたした儀と思し召しの旨により、相組一同、御称美を下し置かれた。
但し、この後毎度御称美を下し置かれた。
一、同（文化）九申年（1812）十二月、三ノ丸教場ならびに本郷原合隊稽古の仕法が当春に改められ、その手始めの際、列伍・足並みなどが相揃った段、かねてより出精いたした故の儀と思し召しの旨により、相組一同、御称美を下し置かれた。

Item: In the eighth month of Bunka 6, Year of the Snake (1809), in recognition of his diligent service in the Ezo guard duties, he was awarded one set of御時服 (go-jifuku, a formal garment presented as a gift from the lord) as a mark of commendation.
Item: In the same month, he went to Hongōhara and lodged there for one night in connection with the tori-kari (falconry hunt/military exercise).
Note: Of the two subsequent occasions on which he participated in the exercise, on one occasion he received game as a gift.
Item: In the tenth month of the same year, during the tori-kari exercise, the formation and marching were well ordered and operations proceeded without hindrance. As it was deemed that this was owing to their diligent practice of combined firearms drill (ai-tetsu keiko), all members of his unit (ai-gumi) were collectively praised and commended by the lord.
Note: Thereafter, they received such commendation on every subsequent occasion.
Item: In the twelfth month of Bunka 9, Year of the Monkey (1812), the training methods for the combined unit drills at the Sannomaru training hall and at Hongōhara were reformed beginning that spring. On the occasion of its inauguration, as the formation and marching were well ordered, it was deemed that this was owing to their diligent efforts, and all members of his unit were collectively praised and commended by the lord.
