一、同年九月、持席にて貞昭様御近習番を仰せ付けられ、当時は恭定様御供方平番を勤めるよう仰せ付けられた事。
一、同六午年三月、去る九月以来、無不参にて出精して勤めた段を仰せ出された事。
一、同年十二月、御人少の御場所にて労費もかかる義のところ、精出して勤めたにつき、綿二把を下し置かれた事。
一、同七未年正月、精出して勤めたにつき、江戸扶持の代、御借上なく、年々金一両ずつ下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された事。
一、同月、御近習番を止められ、貞昭様御供方に替えられた事。
一、同八申年正月、養父仁右衛門の実子、鉄之丞の義を嫡子に仕りたい旨、願いの通り任じられた事。

One: In the ninth month of the same year, at the rank of mochi-seki, he was appointed as close-attendant guard [o-kinjo-ban] to Lord Sadaaki, and at that time was ordered to serve as a regular attendant escort [hira-ban] for Lord Kyōsada.
One: In the third month of the sixth year [of Tenmei, 1786, the year of the Horse], it was officially declared that, since the previous ninth month, he had served diligently without a single absence.
One: In the twelfth month of the same year, given that he had served diligently in a posting with few personnel and considerable expenditure of effort, he was granted two bundles of cotton [as a reward].
One: In the first month of the seventh year [of Tenmei, 1787, the year of the Sheep], owing to his diligent service, it was declared that the allowance in lieu of his Edo stipend would not be subject to the loan-levy [o-kari-age], and that he would receive one ryō in gold per year.
