又直蔵殿御伝言被下忝拝見仕候此段
宜敷御願上奉存候且又私義しごと沢山
相受世話敷候に付帰国も難出き此段左様に
思召可被下候猶又儀助殿吉也両人取急

便りに乗じて一筆申し上げます。季節柄寒くなってまいりましたが、皆様お変わりなくお過ごしのことと存じ、大変喜ばしく思っております。
私も無事に過ごしておりますので、ご安心ください。
さて、腰巻の父上様のことを日々心配して暮らしております。
また、直蔵殿からのお言づけをいただき、ありがたく拝見いたしました。この件についてよろしくお願い申し上げます。また、私は仕事をたくさん引き受けており忙しいため、帰国も困難な状況です。この点をご理解いただければと思います。なお、儀助殿と吉也の両人には急いでお越しいただきますよう、ひとえにお願い申し上げます。夜中に書いたため乱筆をお許しください。恐れながら謹んで申し上げます。

Taking advantage of this opportunity to send word, I write to you briefly. With the season turning cold, I trust that you and all your family members are in good health, which brings me great joy.
I am also doing well, so please do not worry about me.
Now, regarding Koshimaki's father, I spend my days worrying about him.
Also, I gratefully received the message from Nakazō-dono. Please give my regards regarding this matter. Furthermore, I have taken on a great deal of work and am very busy, making it difficult for me to return home. I hope you will understand this situation. I earnestly request that both Gisuke-dono and Yoshiya come quickly.
Written late at night, please forgive my poor handwriting. With all due respect, I humbly submit this letter.
