地震（ぢしん）して湖（みつうみ）と潮（うしほ）と
ひとつとなりて入海（いりうみ）となる
是を今切（いまきれ）といふ

earthquake occurred, and the lake and tide
became one, forming an inlet.
This is called Imagire.
During Emperor Go-Kashiwabara's reign, Eishō 7 (1510),
27th day of 8th month: conch shells emerged and there was a landslide
