現代語訳
先の非を悔い、帰町したい旨を自ら申し立てた趣旨を町役人へ申し出たので、改めて帰町を許可する。これにより、改めて過怠勤を申し付ける。その職務において法に従い、御奉公を正しく勤めること。
右の趣旨を各々立ち会いの上申し渡すこと。

若殿様が当春において登城された際、御官位を賜る旨の仰せを蒙られた。これに付き、御官名は大隅守様となられた。
英語訳
As he has repented his past wrongdoings and personally petitioned to return to town, which was reported to the town officials, we hereby grant permission for his return to town. Therefore, we impose disciplinary service upon him once again. In his duties, he shall follow the law and serve faithfully in his official service.
The above matter shall be conveyed in the presence of all concerned parties.

When the Young Lord made his formal visit to the castle this spring, he was graciously granted a court rank. In connection with this, his official title has become Lord Osumi-no-kami.
