吉田、堀野谷、佐久木、加藤、小林、伊藤らの諸士が進み出て、「有無を言わせずすぐに出陣し、ひとりひとり捕縛して領内の難儀を救うべきである。小諸では大事にしすぎてそのまま通してしまった。勢いに乗った賊徒どもが城にまで乱入することは確かである。何卒、我々十五人にお命じいただき、防がせていただけるよう願い申し上げる」と申し上げた。
