めす下なれは希有の婦出て孝成へを示

斯所々のあじきなさを語り尽し聞竭し視盡
してやう〳〵年も辰の年暮明わたる巳の春
気色也遊民も活計に預り民の戸ぼても融
々鋪なれりと思へは忽夢はさめ社頭の松の
風のみおとつれて不思やふしき八ふし義也と
感しけり諒に盧生（ロセイ）は耶鄲の一睡に五拾年
の栄花を極メ吾は暫時に四五年の夢見る
夢裏の六程もさめて後大千もなく悠〻
現代語訳
府君はもとより慈悲深くいらっしゃり、数多くの飢えた者を救われたことは、世の知るところである。かくして明君の治める下であればこそ、稀有なる婦人が現れて孝行の手本を示すことは、珍しい例ではなかろうか。

こうして各地の辛い有様を語り尽くし、聞き尽くし、見尽くして、ようやく年も辰の年が暮れ、巳の春の気色が明けてきた。遊民も生計を立てることができるようになり、民の暮らしぶりもしだいに和らいでいると思えば、たちまち夢は覚め、社頭の松に風のみが訪れて、思いもかけない不思議な節々であると感じられた。誠に、盧生は邯鄲での一眠りに五十年の栄花を極めたというが、我は暫しの間に四五年の夢を見た。夢の中の六道の有様も覚めた後は大いなる空もなく、悠々と……

Having thus spoken of the wretchedness of each place, and having heard and seen it all to exhaustion, at last the year of the Dragon drew to a close, and the spring of the year of the Snake began to break. Just as one began to think that even the wandering poor had gained access to their livelihoods, and that the doors of the people's homes were gradually becoming more at ease, the dream suddenly broke — only the sound of the wind in the pines at the shrine gate came to greet me. I felt that these were truly strange and remarkable events. Indeed, just as Lusheng, in a single sleep at Handan, experienced fifty years of glory and splendor, I, in a brief time, dreamed a dream of four or five years.
