言事なくあつめさせ人夫なれぬ事ならて
かりつたもひれ湛井の者を頼めとて塞（せき）な
かれば鬼水つくと岡田がこしやらへば是で
はいかぬといかなる所もとる藤枝藤方は
一夜の事と岡田をすかし一度せひたら塞（せき）流し

安ふて猶高直た元は三度に出したる
札金を高ふしまた其上に替てやられ
ぬ非道お上札の替らぬ替りにや米を

お下の難儀小まへ百姓裏備家迄
日にち毎日泣〳〵暮す儀つもりて大

立派なことなく集めさせ、人夫は慣れぬことなので仕方がない。「つたもひれ湛井の者を頼め」と言って堰がなければ鬼のような水が付くと、岡田が腰をやられれば「これではいかぬ」と、どのような所も取る藤枝・藤台など。一夜のことと岡田を騙し、一度急がせたら堰を流し、ようやく植田に駒田を取られ、三十余人の頭が来られ、急がせたが、さてその後さっぱりつまらぬ。お下の百姓が二合三合白米を買えば礼があって、なお高値だ。元は三度に出したる札金を高くし、また其の上に替えてやられぬ非道。お上の札が替わらぬ替わりには米を買えよと、値段を上げれば次第次第にお下の難儀に。前の百姓、裏の備家まで、日には毎日後々まで暮れ、この度積もりて大変だ。
