## 新刻天経或問 凡例
一、「天経或問」は、天文学の規範ともいうべき書である。それゆえ、今回、侍医法眼・長尾分哲先生のご依頼により、原本を校訂し、句読点を施したうえで、版木に上梓するものである。そもそも天文学には、理（理論）・数（数学）・器（器具）・象（天象）の四つの道がある。それゆえ、いかに学識豊かな儒者であっても、師や友の助けなくして、その真髄を通暁することはできない。このような理由から、一編を著して「天学名目」と命名した。これは諸学生に大道を知らしめ、岐路に立って泣くことなく、ますます容易に理解できるようにしようとするためである。これを「天経或問」の末尾に附録として付した。これもまた天文学への梯子・渡し船（手引き）となるものである。諸君子よ、これを俗言・卑説と謗って、みだりに切り捨て、葬り去ることのないようにされたい。
一、諸家の誤りや妄説もまた、もとより少なくはない。たとえば兪子（兪正燮）が「太陽は黄道を一周すれば昼夜が生じる」と言ったこと、また游熙が「赤道の下の土地は、両夏（二つの夏）・両……」と述べたこと……（以下、ページが続く）

## Editorial Guidelines (Hanrei) for the Newly Printed Edition of "Tenkyō Wakumon"
Article 1: "Tenkyō Wakumon" (Questions and Answers on Heavenly Classics) is, in essence, the model text for the study of astronomy. Therefore, in accordance with the request of侍医法眼 (Court Physician of the Hōgen rank) Nagao Buntetsu, we have carefully collated and revised the original text, added punctuation, and committed it to woodblock print. Now, the study of astronomy encompasses four paths: Ri (principle/theory), Sū (mathematics), Ki (instruments), and Shō (celestial phenomena). Therefore, even the most learned Confucian scholars cannot thoroughly comprehend its true essence without the guidance of teachers and friends. For this reason, we have composed a separate volume entitled "Tengaku Meimoku" (Glossary of Astronomical Terms), with the aim of enabling students to understand the main path and not be reduced to weeping at crossroads, making the subject ever easier to comprehend. This has been appended to the end of the main work and likewise serves as a ladder and boat (i.e., a guide) into the study of astronomy. We respectfully ask that learned gentlemen not ridicule this work as mere colloquial speech or trivial tales, and rashly discard and destroy it.
Article 2: The errors and unfounded theories of various scholars are, of course, not few in number. For example, the claim by Yu Zi (Yu Zhengxie) that "the Sun traverses the ecliptic (yellow road) in one full cycle, producing day and night," and the claim by You Xi that "the lands below the equator experience two summers and two…" (the page continues)
