追而右之趣組支配之者并下々江も急度可申渡旨に候以上

【右丁】
一、元禄十一年寅年（1698年）
○当月二十四日、西尾伝兵衛の屋敷の門に二、三歳ほどの女児が捨て置かれていたため、伝兵衛のところに引き取って介抱している。この女児に心当たりのある者がいれば、早急に申し出ること。もし知っていながら申し出ずに、後日発覚した場合には、罪に問われることになる。以上

追記：この件については、組支配の者および配下の者たちにも必ず申し渡すこと。以上

以前から仰せ出されている通り、夜に入って五つ時を過ぎてから外出する者どもは、提灯を灯して通行すること。夜に入って用事がない場合には、みだりに外出しないよう、各自の家来どもに申し付けること。この趣旨を触れ回るように命じられているので、その旨心得ておくこと。以上

追記：夜回り中は従来通り改めを行うこと。なお町中にも同様に触れ回っているので、そのように心得ておくこと。以上

○On the 24th of this month, a female child of about two to three years of age was abandoned at the gate of Nishio Denbei's estate. Denbei has taken her in and is caring for her. If anyone has knowledge of this child, they must come forward immediately. Should anyone knowingly fail to come forward and this becomes known later, they will be held accountable for their transgression. The above.

As has been decreed previously, those who go out after the fifth hour of night must carry lanterns when traveling.
