之方角へは不参候様に可被申付候御城下御泊之内は下々町へ無作と出し被申間敷候用
事有之出シ被申候はゝ高声無作法諸事油断不仕自然町中に而御廻国衆之家
来中へ出合候はゝ道を除遠慮候様可被申付候御宿之前後は一切不通筈押之者附置候

もちろん女性の交代は三月五日とすることが望ましいが、病人やその他やむを得ない事情がある場合は時期にこだわらなくてもよい。
一 女性奉公人の件について、仲介宿が町中で決まれば追って知らせるので、その仲介宿に出向いて
指示に従って雇用を決めること。
一 与力及び年頭の御礼に参上する者、または一統の御礼を行う格式の人々の娘・姉妹については自由
裁量とする。その他の親類等で手元で養っている女性を奉公に出す場合は、右の仲介宿に差し出すこと。右の
格式より下の者は、娘・姉妹であっても仲介宿に遣わして雇用を決めること。
ただし各々の家来の娘・姉妹を主人が雇うことは別格とし、その他は仲介宿に差し越して雇用を
決めること。
右の趣旨が今度仰せ出されたので、各々堅く守り、組支配及び家来の者共へ厳重に申し付けること。以上
十一月日【朱書】「右案文を御覧に入れ御好みもあった上で決定し、今日御座所において御目付共へ渡し早速御家中に触れるべき旨、稲葉多門が申し渡した」

追って家業として行う殺生については別格である。
○先に触れた女性奉公人仲介宿について、下町の唐物屋太右衛門、木町の木屋久兵衛の右二軒に
決まったので、召使いの女性を雇う各々は右の宿に申し越すこと。そうすれば仲介宿から女性奉公人に老女を
付き添わせて遣わすであろう。また今まで召し使っていた女性に暇を出す際は、家来の者を付き添わせて仲介宿に遣わし断りを申すこと。
もちろん女性奉公人共については右の宿に出向いて雇用を決めること。ただし奉公人一人から給銀から十匁につき
一分ずつ仲介宿に遣わすこと。
右の通り組支配の者及び下々にも申し渡すこと。以上《割書：ただしこの女性仲介の御免を申し立てることについて、正徳元年卯正月二日の後の定留にあり、同年十一月二十一日》

城下御宿泊の間は鉄砲を撃ってはならない。また召使いの下々を在々に差し越す場合は、事前に確認して御通行
の方角には参らないよう申し付けること。御城下御宿泊の間は下々を町へみだりに出してはならない。用
事があって出す場合は大声を出したり無作法なことをせず、諸事油断せずに、もし町中で御廻国衆の家
来中に出会った場合は道を避けて遠慮するよう申し付けること。御宿の前後は一切通行禁止とし、番人を置く。

○Regarding the female servant intermediary lodgings mentioned earlier, Karamono-ya Taemon in the lower town and Kiya Kyūbei in Kichō have been
designated as the two establishments, so those hiring female servants should apply to these lodgings. In that case, the intermediary lodgings will send female servants with elderly women as
chaperones. Also, when dismissing women who have been in service, a retainer should accompany them to the intermediary lodging to give notice.
Of course, regarding female servants, employment should be decided by going to these lodgings. However, from each servant's salary, one bu per ten momme of silver
