右御触有之候に付追放申付候者抔差許候由目付中迄物語有之面々も候得共御触之通面々
手前に而吟味次第之儀に候間此方共不及承に候由致挨拶置御家老中も右之通可然由

之紛前々ゟ堅御法度に候へ共当町中かるた商売尓今不相止候一両日中

尤向後かるた商売停止に可被申付候且又当春ゟ只今迄売候かるた如何
然々候哉遂吟味可被申段申談翌廿三日左之通御触差出之

○博奕之儀兼々【脇書】「而」堅御法度に候間人々可被相慎事に候然共末々に至而は博奕らしき紛

仰せ聞かされた【朱書】「推察するに一昨日三日の御当座御法事につき御触れ以下赦しの仰せ付けがあり今日このように仰せ出されたのである」

三月二十二日御目付井上半太夫・小川与衛門が町奉行の所へ出向き、博打
の件について、以前から堅く御法度であるにも関わらず当町中でかるた商売が今も止んでいない、一両日中に
御触れを出す趣旨があるので、その節町中にあるかるた商売を残らず取り上げるべきである
もちろん今後かるた商売停止を申し付けるべきである。かつまた当春から只今まで売ったかるたは如何
であったか吟味すべき段を申し談じ、翌二十三日左の通り御触れを出した
【脇書】「御家老中留をもって校合」
○博打のことは兼ねてより堅く御法度であるので人々慎むべきことである。しかし末端に至っては博打らしい紛い
もすることと聞こえ、不届き至極である。この以後知り次第厳重に申し付ける旨なので、各人その意を得て末端
にも更に堅く申し付けること。かつまた火事の時節でもあるので、火の用心について末端まで油断ないように申し付ける
こと。以上 三月二十三日 各中 追って組～ 目付中
江戸において
○各人の御長屋詰めで湯殿を設える所もないはずなので、御屋敷近所の湯に入ることを御免になった。洗場のこと
なので入浴を止めることがあるので、軽率なことをせず口論ないように慎むこと。もちろん風の
強い節は出かけることは無用である旨なので、その意を得ること。以上

On 3rd month, 22nd day, inspectors Inoue Handayū and Ogawa Yoemon went to the town magistrate to discuss gambling
matters. Although gambling has been strictly prohibited from before, card trading in the town has not ceased even now. Within a day or two
an official announcement will be issued, and at that time all card businesses in town should be completely shut down.
Naturally, card trading should be prohibited going forward. Also, regarding the cards sold from this spring until now, how
was the situation - this should be investigated. The next day, the 23rd, the following announcement was issued:
