◯今度御倹約を仰せ出されましたが、御家中の面々が武具・馬具等を売り払うような品は、あってはならないことです。しかしながら、万一そのようなことがあっては不都合なことです。右のような品物を売ることは、決してあってはならない旨を御家老中より仰せ聞かされましたので、御家中の面々においてその旨を心得られるよう、それぞれにお達しください。以上。

◯十月四日 御座所御門内へのまたがった高足（竹馬）についての御触れ、「御門之部」に記載。
◯摂州天王寺（大坂天王寺）の修復勧化（修理のための寄附募集）の件について、先年公儀より仰せ出されました。それに際して御家中並びに在町（領内の町）においても勧化寄附があるはずのところ、今度は上（幕府）からのご支援をいただきましたので、皆においてその旨を知っておくべきこととします。今後このような件を仰せ出される節には、その内容によって御家中並びに在町において志のある者が寄附をするよう仰せ出されることもあるかもしれないので、予めそのように心得ておくべき旨、仰せ出されました。 十月十四日

◯奉公人の給銀については、昨秋にお触れしました通り、なおも面々において定めの通り高給を与えないよう、ご了見ください。また、奉公人がやむを得ない事情によって宿（居所）に引き籠もる者があった場合、その主人から支配の各所へ申し達すことは、前々から定めがある通りです。今後は、右のような事情で奉公人が引き籠もる者があった場合は、定めの通り取り扱った上で、さらに一通り御目付衆へお達しください。右の趣旨について、面々においてご承知おきください。以上。 正月十三日 各中 追って組・支配へ～ 目付中

◯着類のうち麻上下（あさかみしも）については、昨年御書付にて仰せ出されたことには、他所では着用しにくく、古くて手持ちのものがあれば一両年は着用し、向後申し付ける場合は木綿・布の外は御停止（使用禁止）と仰せ出されました。しかしながら、拝領の麻上下・絹平（きぬひら）、並びに自前の絹平等の古い麻上下を着用することは、五か年の間は差し支えない。新たに注文・仕立てる場合は木綿・布にすること。御医師衆の羽織については、木綿・布・紙子（かみこ）の外は御停止と仰せ出されましたが、十徳（じっとく）および夏の間の薄羽織については、古い絹のものを用いることは五か年の間は差し支えない。その他の羽織については、定めの通り守るよう仰せ出されましたので、御（以下次丁へ続く）

Please communicate this to all domain household members so that they may take note accordingly. Respectfully.

◯4th Month [sic: 10th Month], 4th Day — Regarding the prohibition on stilts (takaashi/竹馬) within the gate of the Lord's residence, recorded in the "Section on Gates" (御門之部).
◯Regarding the solicitation of donations (kanke) for the restoration of Tennōji Temple in Settsu Province (present-day Osaka): this matter was previously ordered by the shogunate. At that time, contributions from domain household members and residents of domain towns were expected. However, this time the matter has been settled from above (by the shogunate), so all should be aware of this. In the future, when such matters are announced, there may be occasions where domain household members and willing residents of domain towns are called upon to make donations depending on the nature of the matter. Henceforth, when a servant is confined for such reasons, the matter is to be handled in accordance with the regulations, and a report should additionally be submitted to the Inspector Corps (御目付). ◯Regarding hempen formal wear (asa-kamishimo) among permitted garments: as was announced last year by written notice, since hempen formal wear is difficult to use elsewhere, if one has old garments on hand they may be worn for a year or two, but new orders going forward are restricted to cotton or cloth (木綿布), with all others prohibited. However, wearing old hempen formal wear that was received as gifts (haikyō), old silk-flat (kinuhira) garments — whether received as gifts or privately owned — is permissible for a period of five years. Newly ordered garments must be of cotton or cloth. Regarding the formal jackets (haori) of domain physicians: while those of other than cotton, cloth, or paper-cloth (kamiko) have been prohibited, wearing old silk jittoku (十徳, a type of formal coat) and summer light haori for a period of five years is permissible.
