・屋敷内の雑芥（ごみ）や塵芥を捨てる際、みだりに外へ捨てないよう、かねてより御触れも出ているところ、近頃また乱雑になっているとのことである。今後はなお一層厳しく守るべきこととする。建札（掲示板）の場所より外へ出さないよう、奥から捨てるよう、きっと申し付けること。以上。

・どこで火事があっても、その筋に応じて御手当（消火担当の者）、御神通（神通組）、あるいは三丁火消等が揃う際に、その場所へみだりに無用の者が多く立ち交じり混雑し、見物するような者がいて、御人数が揃うことの支障となっており、これは困ったことである。第一に、そのような騒がしい時節に各自の御小屋（持ち場）において手抜きがあっては大切なことに支障が生じる。そのような折には火の元には特に入念に注意すべきである。もとより無用の場所へ立ち騒ぐことは決してしてはならないことであるから、下々の者へ厳しく申し付けておくよう。以上。

Henceforth, this rule is to be strictly observed. Ensure that refuse does not go beyond the designated notice-board areas, and that it is disposed of from the rear. This is to be firmly enforced. **Verbal Notice from Edo**
Whenever a fire breaks out anywhere, when the designated firefighting units — including the御手当 (fire response teams), the Jintsū unit, or the Sanchō fire brigades — are assembling at the site, it has come to our attention that many unnecessary persons are mingling in the crowd and causing confusion by spectating, thereby obstructing the assembly of the required personnel. This is an unacceptable situation. Above all, during such tumultuous times, any negligence in attending to one's own post (御小屋) would be a most serious matter. On such occasions, particular care must be taken regarding fire prevention at one's own station. Needless to say, creating disturbances by loitering in unnecessary locations is absolutely prohibited. Ensure that those of lower rank are strictly instructed accordingly. The above.

On the 13th day of the 1st month, regarding the performance of Sagicho hayashi music on the following two days, as is customary each year: since this year is a year when the domain lord is away (on alternate-attendance duty in Edo), and furthermore as the snow is not particularly deep, letters were sent, as in the previous year, to the castle deputy (御城代) and those in charge of groups (組預かり), notifying each of them accordingly.
