紋をもらひこれも江戸大てんま丁三丁
目へ引こし地の内へ池すいなりの社を

となのり草そうし問やの元祖とあふ

【鳥居の扁額】
正一位池淵稲荷大明神
【本文】
山の内屋孫兵衛も時政より三つ鱗の定紋をもらい、これも江戸大伝馬町三丁目へ引っ越し、敷地の内に池水稲荷の社を勧請し、もぐさ屋と軒を並べ、家名を改めて鱗形屋孫兵衛と名乗り、草双紙問屋の元祖と仰がれた。様々な草双紙の版木を仕込み、諸国へ回して商い、日を追って盛んに繁盛し、今の世まで隠れなく家と身が栄えている。

【Main text】
Yamanouchi-ya Gonbei also received the three-scale family crest from Tokimasa, and he too moved to the third district of Ōtemma-chō in Edo. Within his property, he enshrined a shrine to Ikesui Inari, set up shop alongside the moxa merchant, changed his family name and took the name Urokogata-ya Gonbei, and came to be revered as the originator of illustrated book wholesaling. He prepared various illustrated book printing blocks, distributed them throughout the provinces for trade, and his business flourished day by day, with his house and person prospering prominently until the present day.
