(Continuing to the second folio) —the paths traversed by the sun and moon, the cycling of the vital energies through the seasons of spring and autumn, and beyond these, the various arts of shamans, physicians, and craftsmen—through arithmetic, auspicious and inauspicious outcomes are determined, and the proper flow or reversal of vital energy is understood. Without relying upon this way, how could one ever come to know the profound and perceive the principles of things?
