二十五間をかければ千四百
五十坪になる。これを
三百坪で割れば、
四反二畝十歩とわかる。

五尺二寸を六尺五寸をもって
割れば三十八間ほどとなる。これに横二十五間をかければ九百七

法として、外と内を合わせて二百
四間ある。これを二つに割れば百二
間。これに六間をかけて六百
十二坪ある。これを三百坪で割る。

Multiply the length of 58 ken
by the width of 25 ken, and you get
1,450 tsubo. Divide this
by 300 tsubo, and you find
4 tan 2 se 10 bu.

Place the length of 38 ken 5 shaku 2 sun
on the right. Of this length, the fractional
portion of 5 shaku 2 sun is divided by 6 shaku 5 sun,
giving approximately 38 ken. Multiply this by the width of 25 ken, and you get 970
tsubo. Divide this by 300 tsubo, and you get 3 tan 2 se 10 bu.
