【右丁上段】
大崩れの上に焼けた。それより広徳寺前通り・裏町の寺院ともに損じが多く、山崎町・御切手町・入谷辺りは所々大半が崩れた。
○坂本二丁目・三丁目が焼け、たこ谷横丁・御箪笥町の両方へ焼け込み、金杉・大音寺前・三ノ輪町・新町ともに崩れが多かった。根岸は少し揺れたが潰れ家があった。
○上野東叡山は所々崩れたが恙なし。谷中天王寺の五重塔は九輪が折れて大地に埋まった。この辺の寺院は少し損じた。根津御社は恙なく、門前は残らず崩れた。三崎・千駄木辺りは崩れが少し。駒込は所々崩れ、本郷台は崩れが少なかった。諸所で麹室（こうじむろ）へ往来がくぼみ、丸太を渡して通行した。丸山田町より川勝前・戸崎町・柳町・下富坂、すべて低い所は潰れ家が多かった。白山・巣鴨は崩れが少なく、小石川・伝通院前通り・御箪笥町・大塚・音羽辺りは半潰れであった。小石川諏訪町より水戸様百軒長屋下通りは崩れ、向かい側は飛び飛びに焼けた。江戸川べりは両側ともに崩れが多かった。
○牛込馬場は崩れが少なく、赤城下・改代町・小日向・水道町より関口辺りは崩れが多かった。

市谷辺りは大破の所も多く、同所の八幡は無難であった。
○飯田町・俎橋・小川町寄りの方は破損が多く、小石川御門の内外ともに甚だ傷みが多かった。同所内の松平駿河守様のお屋敷が焼け、この辺りの小屋敷は残らず焼け、その余の崩れはおびただしかった。
○小川町に至っては、稲葉長門守様・土屋采女正様・松平左衛門尉様・土井能登守様、その外近辺の御屋敷は損じが多く、戸田大炊頭様のお屋敷は焼けたが表長屋は残った。内藤駿河守様も同断で表御門長屋が残った。堀田備中守様をはじめ近辺はみな焼失した。半井出雲守様は残った。この辺りの小屋敷は大方焼けた。それより表神保小路辺りの御屋敷・定火消御役屋敷・裏神保小路ともにみな焼けた。
○一ツ橋御門通りの御旗本様は残り、原の方の榊原式部大輔様は半分焼け、残らず崩れた。本多豊後守様も半焼であった。戸田加賀守様のお屋敷は焼けた。
○雉子橋御門通りの本郷丹後守様をはじめ、その辺りの御屋敷は残らず焼け、三番原にて止まった。

(The area) burned on top of the great collapse. From there, along the avenue in front of Kōtokuji temple and the back-street temples, damage was extensive. The areas of Yamazaki-chō, Okitte-chō, and Iriya were largely destroyed in various places.
○ Sakamoto 2-chōme and 3-chōme burned, with fire spreading into both Takoya Yokochō and Otansu-chō. Kanasugi, Daionji-mae, Minowa-chō, and Shin-chō all suffered many collapses. Nezu suffered some shaking, though there were collapsed houses.
○ The Tōeizan (Kan'eiji) complex on Ueno hill suffered collapses in various places but was otherwise unharmed. The nine-ringed finial (kurin) of the five-story pagoda at Yanaka Tennōji fell and was buried in the ground. The temples in this area suffered minor damage. The Nezu Shrine was unharmed, though everything in front of the gate collapsed. The Misaki and Sendagi areas suffered few collapses. Komagome suffered collapses in various places, while Hongō plateau suffered relatively few collapses. In many locations, the roads subsided near the kōji-muro (fermentation cellars), and logs were laid across to allow passage. From Maruyama-dachō through Kawakatsumae, Tozaki-chō, Yanagi-chō, and Shimo-Tomizaka, all low-lying areas had many collapsed houses. Hakusan and Sugamo suffered few collapses, while Koishikawa, the road in front of Dentsu'in temple, Otansu-chō, Ōtsuka, and Otowa areas were approximately half destroyed. From Suwa-chō in Koishikawa through the area below the Mito domain's hundred-unit tenement row, there were collapses, and the opposite side suffered scattered fires. The banks of the Edogawa river suffered many collapses on both sides.
○ The Ushigome Riding Grounds suffered few collapses, while the areas from below Akagi Shrine, Kaidai-chō, Kohikata, and Suidō-chō through Sekiguchi suffered many collapses.

The Ichigaya area suffered major destruction in many places, though the Hachiman Shrine there was unharmed.
○ The areas of Iidamachi, Manaita Bridge, and toward Ogawa-chō suffered extensive damage. Both inside and outside the Koishikawa Gate suffered considerable damage. The residence of Lord Matsudaira Suruga-no-kami within the gate area burned, and the smaller residences in this area burned completely, with the remaining collapses being immense.
○ In the Ogawa-chō area, the residences of Lord Inaba Nagato-no-kami, Lord Tsuchiya Uneme-no-shō, Lord Matsudaira Saemon-no-jō, Lord Doi Noto-no-kami, and other neighboring residences suffered extensive damage. Lord Toda Ōi-no-kami's residence burned, though the front tenement row survived. Lord Naitō Suruga-no-kami's residence was similarly situated, with the front gate tenement row surviving. Lord Hotta Bitchū-no-kami's residence and others in the vicinity were completely burned. Lord Nakarai Izumo-no-kami's residence survived. Most of the smaller residences in this area burned. From there, the residences along Omote Jinbō-koji, the residences of the standing fire brigade (jōbikeshi) officials, and Ura Jinbō-koji all burned completely.
○ Along Hitotsubashi Gate Road, the bannermen's (hatamoto) residences survived, while Lord Sakakibara Shikibu-no-tayū's residence on the Hara side was half burned and completely collapsed. Lord Honda Bungo-no-kami's residence was also half burned. Lord Toda Kaga-no-kami's residence burned.
○ Along Kijibashi Gate Road, starting with Lord Hongō Tango-no-kami's residence, all residences in that area burned completely, with the fire stopping at Sanbanhara.
