○ Furthermore, in that gate area, the residence of Lord Matsudaira Buzen-no-kami and the neighboring bannermen's (hatamoto) residences were all lost to fire.
The Mikawa-chō avenue suffered few collapses, and while there were many collapses among the residences outside Kandabashi Gate, no houses were completely crushed. Inside the gate, the middle residences of Lord Sakai Saemon-no-jō and Lord Matsudaira Echizen-no-kami, as well as Lord Ogasawara Sakyō-no-daibu's residence, suffered many collapses.
○ Facing Ōte, Lord Sakai Uta-no-kami's residence survived only at the front gate, while the facing residences burned completely. At the corner of Tatsunokuchi, Lord Morikawa Dewa-no-kami's residence burned. The facing residence of Lord Abe Ise-no-kami collapsed but was spared from the spreading fire. Within Wadakura Gate, the residences of Lord Matsudaira Higo-no-kami, the facing Lord Matsudaira Shimōsa-no-kami, and Lord Naitō Kii-no-kami all burned completely.
○ Inside Babashaki Gate and inside Sakurada Gate, everything collapsed without exception, and the official residences below the Nishi-no-maru suffered many collapses.
○ At Yayosu Riverside, the residences of Lord Matsudaira Sagami-no-kami, his attached residence, and the standing fire brigade (jōbikeshi) official residences burned. However, the fire watchtower survived. Lord Endō Tajima-no-kami's residence burned. Most of the daimyo residences in this area suffered considerable damage.
○ Inside Sukiyabashi Gate, collapses were immense. The residences of Lord Honda Nakatsukasa-no-tayū and Lord Nagai Tōtōmi-no-kami burned.
○ Outside Hibiya Gate, Lord Matsudaira Hizen-no-kami's residence burned. Lord Matsudaira Daizenno-daibu's residence had fire within the secondary gate area. The residences of Lord Arima Bingo-no-kami and Lord Nanbu Mino-no-kami burned. The costume warehouse (shōzoku yashiki) of the Satsuma domain's residence suffered minor fire damage to the front tenement row.
○ Inside Saiwai Bridge Gate, the residences of Lord Matsudaira Kai-no-kami and Lord Itō Shuri-no-daibu burned. At Lord Kamei Oki-no-kami's residence, one section of the middle tenement row burned but the fire stopped there. Damage throughout this entire area was severe, and within Yamashita Gate in particular, damage was especially heavy.
○ Inside Shinbashi, within Toranomon Gate, and in Kasumigaseki, collapses were numerous. The Geishū (Hiroshima) domain residence suffered few collapses, while the Kuroda domain residence collapsed from the corner watchtower all the way to the front gate.
○ From there, the areas of Nagata-chō and the vicinity of the Sannō shrine gate suffered no particular damage, while the Kioi slope area suffered minor damage. Sangen-ya suffered few collapses.
