より出火して南の方へ焼け、円坂（えんえんざか）下にて止まった。もっとも松平出雲守様・松平備後守様・榊原式部大輔様の御中屋敷等は崩れのみで焼失はなかった。池の端・喜連川左馬頭様は半焼であった。
○同所仲町は、片側町は大いに損傷し、両側町の方は崩れが少なかった。御数寄屋町・同朋町は大半が潰れた。上野町二丁目より出火して、六阿弥陀・常楽院は残り、それより南の方、同一丁目・広小路の東側の分は残らず焼けた。御成道の方は井上筑後守様の北長屋が焼けて止まった。広小路西側は大いに崩れ、湯島男坂下通りは崩れが少なく、女坂下はすべて崩れであった。
○それより中坂は崩れ、人家が埋まった所もあった。石川主殿頭様・酒井安芸守様は焼け、堀丹波守様は大崩れであったが類焼はなかった。それより御成道一帯、裏通り・山本町代地・花房町代地・大門町・長者町・続いて下谷町二丁目代地・中御徒町が少々焼けた。
○下谷三味線堀・二長町の辺り・鳥越前後は、いずれも崩れが少なかった。それより御蔵前通りは前に記した通りである。

○深川辺りは、永代橋向かいの相川町より出火し、諸町・熊井町・黒江町・小川町・中島町・大島町・下蛤町辺り・永代寺門前・仲町・山本町までが焼けた。八幡宮は火の中にあったが恙なく（無事で）、鳥居際にて焼け止まった。またもう一か所は、和倉・北本所代地・佐賀町代地辺りが焼けた。
○閻魔堂橋・三角屋敷・富久町・平野町辺りは崩れた。寺町通りは少し残った。
○万年橋川岸・伊勢町二丁目が焼けた。仙台堀・清住町は崩れが強く、海辺大工町・高橋通りはすべて崩れが多かった。霊巌寺の本堂は無事であった。この辺り、扇橋まで傷みが強かった。
○扇橋北の方、深川西町という所で半丁余り焼けた。猿江辺りも崩れが多かった。
○深川浄心寺は本堂が崩れながらも無事で、地中（境内内）の三か寺は潰れ、中門が倒れ、題目の碑も倒れた。この辺りはすべて大崩れであった。
○またもう一か所は、御船蔵前町より大日横丁辺り・八幡御旅所門前・八名川町、この辺りの小屋敷・御籾蔵が少し焼けた。

—a fire broke out and burned southward, stopping at the base of En'en-zaka slope. That said, the middle residences of Lord Matsudaira Izumo-no-kami, Lord Matsudaira Bingo-no-kami, and Lord Sakakibara Shikibu-no-taifu suffered only collapse and were not burned. At Ikenohata, the residence of Lord Kitsukawa Samanosuke was half-burned.
○ In Nakachō of the same area, the single-frontage (katakawa) section suffered great damage, while the double-frontage (ryōgawa) section suffered fewer collapses. Osukiya-chō and Dōbō-chō were more than half destroyed. A fire broke out from the second block of Ueno-chō; Roku-Amida and Jōraku-in survived, but south of there—the first block and the eastern side of Hirokōji—burned completely without exception. On the Onaridō road side, the fire stopped after burning the north nagaya (tenement row) of Lord Inoue Chikugo-no-kami's residence. The western side of Hirokōji suffered great collapses. Below Yushima Otoko-zaka (the men's slope), the street suffered few collapses, but below Onna-zaka (the women's slope), everything collapsed entirely.
○ From there, Naka-zaka suffered collapses and there were places where residential houses were buried. The residences of Lord Ishikawa Tonomo-no-kami and Lord Sakai Aki-no-kami burned, while Lord Hori Tamba-no-kami's residence suffered major collapse but was spared from the spreading fire. From there, the entire Onaridō road area—the back streets, Yamamoto-chō substitute land, Hanabusa-chō substitute land, Daimon-chō, Chōja-chō, continuing through Shitaya-chō second block substitute land—and Naka-Okachi-machi suffered minor burning.
○ In the areas of Shitaya Shamisenbori, Nichō-chō, and the vicinity before and after Torikoe, collapses were few in all places. From there, the Okura-mae avenue is as recorded previously.

○ In the Fukagawa area, a fire broke out from Aikawa-chō, across from Eitai Bridge, and burned through Moromachi, Kumai-chō, Kuroe-chō, Ogawa-chō, Nakajima-chō, Ōjima-chō, Shimo-Hamaguri-chō and surroundings, the precinct gate of Eitai-ji temple, Nakachō, and as far as Yamamoto-chō. The Hachiman-gū shrine, though surrounded by fire, was unharmed; the fire stopped at the very edge of the torii gate. In another location, the area around Wagura, Kita-Honjo substitute land, and Saga-chō substitute land also burned.
○ The areas around Enmadō-bashi Bridge, Sankaku-yashiki, Tomihisa-chō, and Hirano-chō suffered collapses. The temple district (teramachi) street survived in part.
○ The Mannen Bridge riverside and the second block of Isemachi burned. Sendai-bori and Kiyosumi-chō suffered severe collapses, and Umibe Daiku-chō and the Takahashi avenue area suffered widespread collapses throughout. The main hall of Reigan-ji temple was undamaged. Throughout this area, damage was severe as far as Ōgi-bashi Bridge.
○ To the north of Ōgi-bashi, in a place called Fukagawa Nishi-machi, about half a chō (approx. 55 meters) burned. In the Sarue area as well, collapses were numerous.
○ At Fukagawa Jōshin-ji temple, though the main hall collapsed, it remained structurally intact; three sub-temples within the grounds were destroyed, the inner gate fell, and the stone monument inscribed with the daimoku (sacred title) also toppled. The entire area around here suffered major collapse.
○ In another location, from Ofunakura-maechō through the Dainichi-yokochō area, the gate precinct of Hachiman-otabisho, and Yanagawa-chō, the small residences and the official rice storehouses (momigura) in this area suffered minor burning.
