現代語訳
奉行様が巡回される際は、各丁の町代、古役、火事村打の者は自身番において平伏して控えている。ただし組頭は麻裃を着用し、踏み込み下駄を履いて一刀を帯刀して平伏して控えている。その他、丁内の時の見回りを行う。
一、自身番は袴を着用すること
一、夜番はその町の看板を着用すること
一、夜中の見回り番は時刻の半時を違えることなく見回りを行うこと
一、奉行様が巡回される際は、満光寺の奉仕中、御霊屋とも見回りをなされる
一、夜四つ時より自身番と夜番で交代し、丁内の家々を訪ねて申し伝える。もちろん
一、裏回りの者はそれぞれ見回りを行う
一、町代の補助として下町の漆屋平兵衛、横町の木曽屋平十郎の両人が願い出て、町代に加わり町方の見回りを手伝いたい旨申し出たところ、お聞き届けの上で見回りを行う
一、町番所には郷方衆一人ずつが交代で立ち、見回りを行う。もちろん時刻は不定
英語訳
When the magistrate (bugyo) makes his rounds, the town representatives (machidai), senior officials (koyaku), and fire brigade members (kaji murauchi) from each district shall prostrate themselves at their respective guard posts (jishinban). However, group leaders shall wear formal hemp ceremonial dress (asa kamishimo), wooden clogs (fumikomi), and carry a sword while prostrating. In addition, they shall conduct patrols within their districts at designated times.

1. Night watchmen shall wear the identification boards of their respective towns
1. Night patrol guards shall make their rounds at precisely half-hour intervals without fail
