先祖青木四郎左衛門ト申者青木紀伊守殿一族ニテ則家
臣ト罷成当国ニ罷有候府中金剛院ノ境内ハ四郎左衛門
屋敷地之由承伝候其後前田利家卿ニ仕へ罷有候内於京
都喧嘩仕相手ヲ討首尾能立退候而其頃木村長門守重成
儀ハ青木四郎左衛門甥ニテ候故重成方ニ蟄居仕罷有候
処ニ大坂一乱縡発リ申ニ付秀頼卿ヨリ士卒二十騎預リ
戦功有之由其節感状之写于今持伝候冬陣御和睦ノ後前
田家ヨリ先知千石ヲ以テ帰参候様ニト被相招候へ共大
坂表縡未鎮体ニ候故見合罷有翌年五月六日遂ニ戦死仕

先祖青木四郎左衛門と申す者は、青木紀伊守殿の一族で、その家臣となって当国に居住していた。府中金剛院の境内は四郎左衛門の屋敷地であったと承り伝えている。その後前田利家卿に仕えていたが、京都において喧嘩をして相手を討ち、首尾よく立ち退いた。その頃木村長門守重成は青木四郎左衛門の甥であったので、重成の元に蟄居していたところ、大坂の乱が起こったため、秀頼卿より士卒二十騎を預かり戦功があった。その節の感状の写しを今でも持ち伝えている。冬の陣の和睦の後、前田家より先の知行千石をもって帰参するようにと招かれたが、大坂表の事がまだ鎮まっていないので見合わせていたところ、翌年五月六日ついに戦死した。四郎左衛門の嫡子平右衛門と申す者は、秀康公の家中市橋平兵衛と申す者の養子となり、大坂御陣の時は忠直公の御

●Tashiro Mansada Nagasuke (home province and birthplace both Echizen, family name Fujiwara, original name Aoki)
His ancestor, called Aoki Shirosaemon, was a member of Lord Aoki Kii-no-kami's clan and became his retainer, residing in this province. It is handed down that the grounds of Kongorin Temple in Fuchu were Shirosaemon's estate. Later, while serving Lord Maeda Toshiie, he got into a fight in Kyoto, killed his opponent, and successfully escaped. At that time, Kimura Nagato-no-kami Shigenari was Aoki Shirosaemon's nephew, so he went into retirement at Shigenari's place. When the Osaka conflict erupted, he received twenty cavalry soldiers from Lord Hideyori and achieved military merit. A copy of the commendation letter from that time is still preserved today. After the winter campaign's peace settlement, the Maeda family invited him to return to service with his former stipend of 1,000 koku, but since the situation at Osaka had not yet settled, he waited. The following year, on May 6th, he finally died in battle.
