宗雲祖父竹田昌慶法印医術為修行入唐仕午黄円ノ秘方
相伝仕候今世竹田ノ午黄円ト申ニテ候帰朝之後
権現様御医師ニ被召出候昌慶妻ハ 広忠公ノ御娘桜井
与次郎殿妻ノ子ニテ候故 広忠公ノ御孫之由ニ候昌慶
嫡子妻木甚左衛門ト申者医業ヲ嫌ヒ松本山城守殿儀ハ
母方ノ縁者ニテ候ニ付彼家エ罷出番頭役相勤候宗雲政
房儀ハ右甚左衛門二男ニテ候

● 妻木宗雲政房《割書：本国不明 生国播磨｜姓不明 俗名妻木伝右衛門》
宗雲の祖父竹田昌慶法印は医術修行のため唐に入り、午黄円の秘方を
相伝いたしました。今世で竹田の午黄円と申すのがそれです。帰朝の後、
権現様の御医師に召し出されました。昌慶の妻は広忠公の御娘で桜井
与次郎殿の妻の子でしたので、広忠公の御孫にあたります。昌慶の
嫡子妻木甚左衛門と申す者は医業を嫌い、松本山城守殿が
母方の縁者でしたので、その家に出仕して番頭役を相勤めました。宗雲政
房は右の甚左衛門の二男です。
吉品公の御代、元禄十六年癸未年に跡目を下された

During the reign of Lord Yoshishina, in the 4th year of Jōkyō, year of the Fire Rabbit, he was summoned to service
● Tsumaki Sōun Masafusa《Interlinear note: Home province unknown, birth province Harima | Family name unknown, common name Tsumaki Den'emon》
Sōun's grandfather, Takeda Shōkei Hōin, went to China to study medical arts and received the secret formulas of Gokōen. What is now called Takeda's Gokōen derives from this. After returning to Japan, he was summoned to serve as physician to Gongen-sama. Shōkei's wife was the daughter of Lord Hirotada and the child of Lord Sakurai Yojirō's wife, thus making her Lord Hirotada's granddaughter. Shōkei's eldest son, called Tsumaki Jinzaemon, disliked the medical profession. Since Lord Matsumoto Yamashiro-no-kami was a relative on his mother's side, he went to serve that house and performed the duties of chief retainer. Sōun Masafusa was the second son of the aforementioned Jinzaemon.
