祖父栗原治右衛門ト申者先祖武田信玄ニ相勤候由其子
船岡秀伯乗庸儀当秀伯乘延父ニテ候尾張田代万休ト申
医師ノ弟子ニ罷成医術ヲ学ヒ以後当国エ罷越町宅ニ罷
有療治仕候処 光通公御代江戸御供ニ被召連無足ニテ
相詰毎度 御前エモ被召出候由

当代 船岡秀伯乗延《本国不明 生国越前｜姓不明 本名栗原》
祖父栗原治右衛門という者は、先祖が武田信玄に仕えていたという。その子
船岡秀伯乗庸は、当代秀伯乗延の父である。尾張の田代万休という
医師の弟子となり医術を学び、その後当国（越前）へやって来て町屋敷に
住み、治療を行っていたところ、光通公の御代に江戸御供に召し連れられ、無足の身分で
詰め、度々御前にも召し出されたという。

Summoned in the 2nd year of Shōtoku, Mizunoe-Tatsu year (1712) during Lord Yoshikuni's reign
Current Funaoka Hidehaku Norinobe《Native province: unknown Birth province: Echizen｜Family name unknown Original name: Kurihara》
His grandfather, called Kurihara Jiemon, is said to have had ancestors who served Takeda Shingen. His son
Funaoka Hidehaku Noritsune was the father of the current Hidehaku Norinobe. He became a disciple of
a physician named Tashiro Mankyū from Owari and studied medical arts. Later he came to this province (Echizen) and
lived in a town residence, practicing medicine. During Lord Mitsumichi's reign, he was summoned to accompany the lord to Edo, serving in an ashigaru (foot soldier) capacity without stipend,
and was frequently summoned before the lord's presence.
