現在の三好玄東自当《本国は不明、生国は山城、姓は不明》
祖父の三好太郎兵衛という者は、三好丹後守殿の一族で家老職を勤め、摂津国に居住していた。その後、丹後守殿が駿河へ移されて死去した後、浪人となり京都にいた。その子の三好左兵衛は、幼少の時に父太郎兵衛が亡くなったため、武士の職を辞めて医術を学び、玄治法印の弟子となり、剃髪して三好玄隆と名乗った。この者が現在の玄東の父である。

Summoned to service in the third year of Shōtoku, year of the water snake (1713), during the reign of Lord Yoshikuni.
The current Miyoshi Gentō Jitō 《Home province: unknown, birth province: Yamashiro, family name: unknown》
His grandfather, called Miyoshi Tarōbei, was a member of Lord Miyoshi Tango-no-kami's clan and served as chief retainer (karō), residing in Settsu Province. After Lord Tango-no-kami was transferred to Suruga and died, he became a masterless samurai and lived in Kyoto. His son Miyoshi Sahei, when his father Tarōbei died while he was still young, gave up his position as a samurai and studied medicine, became a disciple of Genji Hōin, took the tonsure, and called himself Miyoshi Genryū. This person is the father of the current Gentō.
